The wolf’s black figure blurred and she continued attacking the frost orcs and the chimeras that had garnered a lot of injuries.

While the frost orcs did not really pose that much of a threat, the chimeras were still strong even if they were one step away from fully collapsing.

Qin Hua had to use her shapeshifting ability and her fenrir’s rage every time as soon as their cool down wore off.

She rotated her skills and attacked the chimeras when she was at the height of her strength and ducked down and attacked stealthily with the elemental spells at other times.

As she hurriedly spammed one skill after another, Qin Hua suddenly paused. She had just caught the whiff of a familiar scent! Alex!

Growl! She shifted her gaze and began looking for Alex to see if she was okay. In case she was injured Coco could easily heal her and then Alex would be able to fight once again.

Since she was one of the stronger fighters of the group, Qin Hua decided to take the time now in the midst of this chaotic battle to find Alex.

She dashed around searching for the scent and then finally came across the altar located in the middle of the frost orc settlement.

The scent grew stronger as well and before long Qin Hua peered down the hole to see Alex. There was also the dazzling rift crystal in front of her.

This one was black in color unlike the previous one which was shimmering white.

Qin Hua did not bother looking at the rest of the description. She quickly jumped into the hole and then activated her shapeshifting ability to swiftly pull Alex up and drop her back on the ground.

“Little white…” Alex was shocked which soon became a big huge grin. “You guys are all alright?”

Woof! Qin Hua shook her head and then dropped her onto the battleground without any warning.

Alex was once again stunned.

However, she quickly jumped into the fray and joined the fight. Now that she had had some time to catch a breath, her mana reserves were once again rejuvenated.

Qin Hua meanwhile bolted back to the rift crystal. It looked like she had to destroy this one as it had been corrupted.

But this time, she was not alone and eight frost orcs stood around the altar. They seemed to be muttering something in an unknown language.

Just as she looked at them, they as well noticed her and the eight orcs immediately started attacking her.

Bright flashes appeared around her, and Qin Hua could feel different attacks coming at her. Without hesitation, she jumped into a shadow to hide first.

[Woof! These orcs can cast spells? What the heck?]

Qin Hua peered out slightly and used [Dark Shackles] to bind one. She then lobbed a chaos ball and jumped into another shadow to see the damage that she could deal to these guys.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The chaos ball rippled through the frost orcs and on the other side Qin Hua swiped her paws in a frenzy to maul one of the orcs before diving into a shadow again.

[Woof! That was easy!] She grinned and started taking out the orcs one by one, playing around with them using her shadow clone.

Within a few minutes, the eight orcs that were chanting were all down on the snow covered ground, no longer getting back up to fight.

Qin Hua then quickly took out their mana cores and kept them inside the inventory for later use as she didn’t need them just yet.

After that, she quickly sprinted towards the rift crystal and placed it in between her canines to crush it into powder.

She was skeptical about this at the beginning but it looked like her strength was enough to bite it into smithereens.

The world around her instantly darkened and the next moment she felt a pull on her body, before once again finding herself on the familiar streets of the city.

[Fucking finally! Growl!] Qin Hua did not linger and used this opportunity to jump onto a chimera that was disoriented.

She clawed the beast, with wisps of lightning and dark elemental swirling around her paw and directly cleaved one of its three heads.

The chimera which was clearly an amalgamation of ape and deer, stumbled and fell lifeless on the ground. She also scooped out the mana core before disappearing into the mess on the street.

Everyone seemed to be disoriented but their group was doing better than the others as she had told them that this would happen beforehand.

Alex had joined Xu Meilin and Luo Zu and was taking down a chimera, roasting it alive. Guan Ye was also close to taking one down and he had a couple of fighters nearby giving him support.

Qin Hua’s eyes swept past them and searched for the familiar figure.

She wanted to tell Lu Chen that they had gotten out and both the chimeras and the frost orcs were almost completely wiped out.

But when she finally found him, shock and disbelief filled her face. Lu Chen was fighting an elephant chimera that was near Su Yan.

The beast was fully wounded with ice spears stuck in multiple parts of its body and it looked like it was not going to last that much longer.

But in one final thrust, it shoved Lu Chen away and then right in front of her eyes, the chimera opened its mouth and gulped down Su Yan wholly.
