Mira flew at her top speed towards the black dragon camp, as along the way she was spotted and pursued by her attackers.

Mira and Max were hardly 30 kilometres away from the camp and at the speed they were travelling it was not more than a 2 minutes journey.

On their tail were 3 tier5 dragons who knew they would become as good as toasted meat if they let Mira return to the camp, hence they chased her with all their might.

Max wanted to peek back to get a better understanding of his situation, however, he could not move an inch, as the high velocity at which they were travelling created an incredible wind drag.

Should he wriggle even a bit and increase the drag, his single non-injured wrist would become unable to hold onto Mira and fling him into the open sky.

” Fucking hell ” Max cursed as he felt a dragon’s breath attack narrowly miss his hair as Mira performed a mid air barrel roll to dodge the attack.

” I’m going to dive… ” Mira said softly, however, due to the high wind speed Max was unable to understand exactly what she spoke.

” You wha……!?!!! ” Before Max could ask what are you going to do, Mira took a full 90° drop, as she closed her wings and dived straight towards the ground like a comet.

Max could see them approaching the ground fast and although the ground inched closer and closer, Mira showed no intentions of slowing down at all.

‘ God help me please ‘ Max thought as he sincerely prayed to God about not letting his life end in a charizard style seismic toss attack.

The pursuers also dipped after Mira as they dropped down at an even higher velocity due to their large mass.

At the very last second, Mira pulled open her wings as she literally blew the dust apart from the ground below before stabilising her flight path parallel to the ground.

Max glanced below and could literally see his dangling feet only about 3-5 cm above ground as even if he extended his toes, he would touch the surface.

Mira had pulled off an incredibly risky move and while her light frame and small body allowed for her to make such manoeuvres, the larger mass dragon’s with bigger bodies could not pull up in-time like her as their larger inertia led them to crash into the ground.

‘ PRAISE NEWTON AND HIS LAW OF INERTIA! ‘ Max thought excitedly as he saw one dragon after another crash into the ground below, giving Mira some much needed seconds to create a safe distance.

Mira sped away towards the black dragon’s camp after this at her top velocity, not even daring to glance behind as 2 minutes later she broke past the two tier 5 guards on duty at the black dragon camp and crashed straight near her mother’s tent.

Her crash caused quite a commotion in the black dragon camp as Rhea instantly came out of her tent to check on her beloved baby.

For a moment she was stunned to see Max, but a quick glance over Mira’s body made her realise that she was covered in recently healed battle wounds.

” Rikitriax Mukita (What happened?)” Rhea asked in ancient Draconic, as her chilling voice made the entire black dragon camp shudder in fear

” Lavos Derinetri ( Ambush ) ” Mira replied as the black dragons collectively snivelled their dragon snouts, throwing dirty glances towards Max.

Since Max had obtained the Divine title, he exuded an intangible aura that made dragon’s shudder in fear.

It made them uncomfortable around Max as they assumed that he was the perpetrator behind this event.

” Gaczoveni? ( Who? ) ” Rhea asked in absolute wrath as Mira pursed her lips and hesitated before answering.

She knew that if she told her mother that the perpetrators of this event were still outside in the open, she would immediately fly off and start a bloodbath, which was why she chose to give a diplomatic answer.

” I’m injured, mother, and so is Ravan, in an historical battle that will be recalled as a legendary feat in the illustratious list of universe’s best battles he killed a tier6 dragon of the white dragon clan and saved me from my confirmed demise ” Mira said in bipedal English, trying to calm her mother’s wrath.

” So the enemy is dead? Don’t lie to me Mira, you kids are not capable of killing god’s ” Rhea said admonishing her daughter for cooking up bullshit stories.

” It’s true aunt Rhea, I mean queen Rhea ” Max said affirming Mira’s story

Rhea inspected Max’s stat panel and found his title as she read it’s effects to confirm that Max had indeed killed a tier6 dragon.

” How did you achieve this feat? How is this possible? Tell me everything, also someone send in the healers and inform my husband, we need to have a serious discussion regarding today’s events” Rhea said as she addressed both Max and her subordinates.

Soon, Max found himself surrounded by the best dragon healers who mended his broken wrist and made it as good as new while Max slowly narrated the story of killing a tier6 dragon to Rhea.

There were many inexplicable parts in his story, the biggest being how did he survive a point blank blast of dragons breath, however, by the end of the story Rhea understood one important fact, which was Max was a rare warrior who knew his own strengths and weaknesses as well as those of his enemy and could use them to prepare a formidable strategy.

She was not sure that after all her experience as a warrior she herself could have made a better plan, as except for melting the gods brains, Max had no other methods of actually killing the beast.

Everyone in the black dragon camp was truly impressed by Max’s prowess as their gaze towards him turned from one of disgust to one of fear and respect.
