Unakku was a volcano which was constantly spewing gases and Ash into the atmosphere but had not erupted in a major explosion for the past five decades.

Unakku was strategically located within the Barbarian controlled lands and the area surrounding it was rich with volcanic soil and was the most fertile grounds for irrigation.

In an inhospitable planet like Maralago, the Unakku region was a foodbed for the barbarians and their lifeline for prolonged battles.

To defend Unakku they had two forts built on its North-Eastern and South-Western entrances.

From fort Sven, the nearest fort was the North-eastern fort which was manned by roughly 12,000 barbarians and was at a 2 hour distance from the South-Western fort which stationed an additional 18 thousand troops.

If one wanted to capture any of the two forts they needed to do so within a 2 hour timeframe, because otherwise they would be sandwiched between two armies and the outcome would be disastrous.

This made conquering the fort very challenging as 2 hours was not enough time to rout a barbarian force of 12,000 strong sitting securely behind fort walls.

In Max’s past life, an intelligent vampire general created a fake rumour that mount Unakku was about to have a major explosion.

Using this rumour, he made the north eastern fort barbarians evacuate their lands and head towards the south-east where he not only captured the North-eastern fort without a fight, but also killed the migrating forced via an ambush before charging with full power onto the south-western fort.

After a brutal battle, he managed to win two forts and secure the Unakku belt for the vampires in a monumental victory which completely changed the stalemate situation on the planet.

The victory opened new battlefronts on the planet and within one year of the fall of the forts the vampires managed to win Maralago.

In this life Max wanted to use a similar approach in defeating the enemy, however, with a small twist of his own.

But all of the fine details of his plan depended on Severus and his scouting report, which would give Max the proper understanding of the situation on the Barbarian side of things.

Max currently needed more details on the various barbarian clans, their chiefs, their strengths, their war weapons and the like to prepare a proper method of attack.

While there were some old reports available by vampire scouts collected over several years, Max did not trust those old reports to be 100% accurate.

As far as he was concerned, only Severus could be trusted to gather critical Intel as the man was a genius who with his bloodline ability was the perfect man for information gathering missions.

” I understand Captain, give me 7 days, I won’t disappoint you ” Severus said as he gave Max the proper military salute before departing for his mission.

The stability of the universe will break if the dragons choose a faction to join. But that madman finds pleasure in chaos ” Micheal said as he flung the report suggesting Lucifer’s latest moves into the air.

” Well, with the new heir of the dragon king, that Mira kid, I can see why Lucifer has the opportunity to do so.

That kid is bad news for the weaker dragon clans and the dark faction as nobody should be able to do the things she’s doing as a tier 3 underling.

Reports say that her mana pool is inexhaustible, if she’s allowed to grow she will become the vampire monarch and most likely have the capacity to unify all clans.

If that happens, she is more likely to learn towards joining the light faction than the dark, she has a soul contract afterall with little sister Hazriels subject ” Raphael said as Micheal scoffed

” Nobody has inexhaustible mana, that part is exaggerated, hers might be 10 times the normal size maybe 20 maybe 100, I don’t know, but it can’t be bottomless ” Micheal said as he rolled his eyes at the stupid words used in the report

” If Lucifer starts rallying the weaker clans against the crown and offers them aid if they join the dark faction then we cannot just sit quietly.

The dragon neutrality must be maintained, if they are not going to join the light faction they will sure as hell not join the dark one ” Sariel said as he understood the grave situation Lucifer’s action would trigger.

” I really wonder what the fuck the queen wants sometimes.

She will kill a man like Shakuni for killing Thor and destabilising the thunder nation, yet she will not punish our younger brother for destabilising the universe.

Makes one wonder if she is really an unbiased entity?

Ha, who are we kidding, of course she’s not ” Micheal said as he pointed two middle fingers towards the sky knowing that the queen would be watching his actions.

” Speaking of Shakuni, have you seen his son kartikeya? He has wings on his back and is part angel.

But unlike other part angels who have grey wings he has pure white ones, like ours and has pointy ears like an elf.

I think he’s born with the blessing of nature as well, if we train him he can become stronger than Shakuni in the future ” Sariel said as he brought up another controversial topic
