There was no concept of time in dreams, so Furuhashi Sakurakyu was unsure of how much time had passed. 

When she picked up Akino’s finished paper and checked carefully, her eyes were filled with shock. 

The answers were all correct. 

Furuhashi Sakurakyu’s grades were not that good when she was attending school, but she still had some education as an adult afterward. Even though her grades were average, she could understand a bit of high school knowledge, so she still remembered some of them even now. Additionally, she saw these questions and their respective answers before, so she knew that Akino’s answers were all correct. 

Even though it was just a dream and dreams are unpredictable, as mentioned before, it still reflects on events from reality. If Akino did not know how to solve these questions, in reality, it would be impossible for her to solve these questions even in her dreams because knowledge could not just appear from thin air. 

In other words, Akino was actually a brainiac. By eliminating all the other possibilities, what was left would be the truth. 

Furuhashi Sakurakyu was excited yet confused. She had initially thought that all of her daughters were dumb, but Akino was actually a brainiac, to her surprise. What a deeply hidden truth this was. 

“You did so well, why are you hiding it?” 

Akino pouted after hearing that, “I didn’t want to hide that… It’s because of you and Dad. By right, you should know this, Mom.” 

After Akino’s statement, Furuhashi Sakurakyu thought for a while and suddenly realized something. 

Akino had the best grades between the sisters, and she was praised often when she was young. To express their praise, Furuhashi Sakurakyu and her husband often compared Akino’s grades with her three sisters and rewarded her in front of the three sisters… 

However, Furuhashi Sakurakyu and her husband had no experience in raising children, so they did not know when was the limit. Under the biased comparison, Akino was slowly isolated by Harunaka and the sisters.

If Furuhashi Sakurakyu had praised Harunaka and the sisters and gave them rewards too at that time, perhaps Harunaka, Natsui, and Fuyuno’s grades might be closer to the level of a brainiac.

When he came home and saw that the three sisters’ grades were not as good as Akino’s, he scolded them. Furuhashi Sakurakyu did not felt wrong at that time and went along with her husband’s will. Day after day, Harunaka and the sisters gave up eventually and stopped studying because Akino was the only one who was praised all the time in terms of studying. Since they bore the same bitterness toward Akino, she was isolated. Akino was confused, and she felt wronged. 

Akino was indeed gifted academically. All she needed to do was to listen during class, and she basically got into the top board. So, compared to Harunaka and the sisters, Akino had more time to read novels, watch anime, her strange dramas, and movies… These contributed to Akino’s mindset to mature faster. Her thought trains were affected by novels at that time, so she was a quick thinker. Therefore, to save her relationships with her sisters, her academic grades started plummeting slowly. 

Her grades were basically the same as her three sisters at last. Adding on the demise of Furuhashi Sakurakyu, the four sisters were back on good terms again. 

Harunaka and the sisters often recalled their younger days after they grew up. When they remembered themselves isolating Akino, they regretted deeply. So, Harunaka and the sisters treated Akino very well and lovingly since junior high. 

As long as Akino’s request was logical, they would not reject her. 

After Furuhashi Sakurakyu heard all of these, her face was filled with regret… She had been mimicking the method from other housewives at that time without thinking that every family is different and needs different methods accordingly… The friendly competition was fine, but if a whole consideration was not done, educating children about their three fundamental values could easily go wrong.

After exiting Akino’s dream, Furuhashi Sakurakyu’s consciousness returned to the room. She stared at Kimura Kazuki, who was sleeping on his bed.

Furuhashi Sakurakyu was surprised by this unexpected voice. When she saw Kimura Kazuki switch on the light and was frowning upon her, she asked angrily, “Did you do something to Harunaka?” 

“How did you know?” Kimura Kazuki looked at her in surprise. Looking at Furuhashi Sakurakyu up and down, he calmly said, “Looks like you still have abilities that I don’t know, I was wondering what’s wrong with you these days… You’ve been sleeping during the daytime but so energized at night… It seems like you used your power and did something.” He had been suspecting for a while. It was just that he was not interested in other people’s privacy. 

As long as Furuhashi Sakurakyu did not cause trouble, he would not be checking on her all the time. Besides, Furuhashi Sakurakyu had always been by his side and followed his instructions, she was unable to do any damage. 

So it was true. 

Listening to Kimura Kazuki’s response, Furuhashi Sakurakyu kept her composure instead as she thought that there was no downside to this anyway. She was quite satisfied with Kimura Kazuki. Although his attitude toward her was not the best, his ability was extraordinary enough to protect Harunaka. 

If he married Harunaka in the future, he could protect Natsui and the rest as well. That would be killing two birds with one stone.
