“Pathetic Yahe. Didn’t you say that you could handle it?” One of the men stepped forward. He was the same person who had spoken previously as well.

He lifted his leg and pressed it down on the man’s head, squishing him into the ground mercilessly.

Yahe gasped for breath and spurted out the mud and dirt that was entering his mouth.

His eyes were reddened and his face turned pale. Yahe didn’t have to lift up his head to see who was standing beside him this time. He knew this sadistic voice all too well.

The Commander’s personal troops were here.

At this moment, a thought entered his mind. Why was his own teammate treating him worse than the enemy?

He smiled bitterly, still continuing to gasp for air. His hand clutched the ground, struggling to bear the pain that was being inflicted upon him.

However, he didn’t have any words to respond back. Yahe could only grit his teeth and bear the pain.

He wanted to say something back, but he knew that his current condition didn’t give him the face to do so. He was indeed in a pathetic state being played around by the enemies.

Weirdly enough, along with the mixed feeling of pain and misery, there was also a faint trace of hope on his face.

This was because even though he was suffering right now, he knew that they were all going to be saved now, without fail.

The group of ten men all had strong abilities and were the strongest force in their base. In fact, these people barely ever touched the ammunition reserves.

In every hunt they participated in, they only relied on their own strength and power. No one in the entire place even dared to question their authority.

They were all unanimously loyal to the Commander and they were the real power and strength behind their base and the Commander’s iron-fisted rule.

No matter what tricks the other party had, this time they were in over their heads and Yahe’s only consolation was that they were going to suffer a fate far worse than his.

‘You really should have surrendered to me…’ He chuckled inwardly and played dead so that the person stamping him down would finally stop.

Guan Ye adjusted his stance and Qin Hua blew on her paw nails as she readied herself to knock out a few more people.

They seemed to be stronger than the previous batch but they were still nothing that she couldn’t handle. She was already mentally calculating what could be the best approach.

All she had to do was take out two at the beginning and if Guan Ye also takes out one at least, their numbers would instantly be down to 7 from 10.

She could then handle the next two and Guan Yen, Lu Chen, and Alex could handle 5 five between them without any issues. However, Qin Hua didn’t act rashly this time.

Her eyes squinted analyzing the men in front of her.

[Growl. Why do I feel some sort of weird energy coming from these people? Could this have something to do with the ‘soul-corroded’ status? I should [Inspect] them.]

Before anyone could make a move, her pair of green and blue feral eyes flickered and a screen popped out in front of her describing her enemy in sufficient detail.

This fight might not go as smoothly as the previous one and they might probably have to use a heavier hand, not to take any unnecessary risks.

But she was sure that they would at least be able to capture one of the men.

She licked her lips and growled before slowly slipping into another shadow and creeping up behind the enemy lines.
