Only I Am A Reader – Chapter 341: Heavenly Arrow! Clash! Bahasa Indonesia

Despite being free from the paralyzing effect of Dragon Fear, everyone remained standing in place as only archers and javelin throwers acted out. The reason for that was very simple.

Considering the excessive number of powerhouses gathered in this place, the shock imposed by the dragon didn’t last long in comparison to the Poison Dragon’s surprise attack. His fate could be considered sealed if everyone ganged up on him, but…

Roarrrrr!

The gigantic dragon wasn’t there on its own!

Only a few heads had popped out from the crack, but the TV screen-like view that the crack provided caused everyone’s sweat glands to explode. Anyone who would get closer at the moment would only have one fate waiting for him, stomped to death!

However, being only capable of delivering long-ranged attacks didn’t mean that their firepower was close to zero. Archery was underrated on Murim, but there were Martial Artists who used that path to climb to the top!

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

‘There he is!’

The Bow of destiny! The one known as the Inescapable Arrow, that was the last of the Heavenly Strength Society’s Four Pillars!

Unlike the Absolute Spear and the Fist Lord who acted a lot in the open, the Inescapable Arrow was even more mysterious than the Blade Spirit. He didn’t have much to do when the Society was keeping to themselves, but if he did go out on a mission, his targets died from a few miles away without seeing his face…

As such, his title varied depending on the area, some called him the Heavenly Arrow, while others referred to him as the Reaper’s Scythe. Now, everyone witnessed the identity of the golden-haired man standing by the Heavenly Demon, the top archer of Murim!

“Hateful Guardian! You even went as far as to assemble a bunch of defenders. Do you desire to let your world suffer for long?”

Swoosh!

The Demon Lord’s words were hard to understand from the Martial Artists’ perspective as their body constantly bumped out adrenaline. Disregarding his monologue, the Inescapable Arrow shot out one more Qi Arrow, pulverizing the fourth head into nothing.

“If you are so worried about our world, why don’t you go back from where you came from?”

The Heavenly Arrow’s plastic surgery had reduced the Demon Lord’s body into a more comprehensible shape with one last head left, but he didn’t raise his bow after that.

In addition to the shot that failed to damage the body, he had shot out five Qi Arrows at full force, enough to destroy the heads covered in scales. Even an Unrestrained Martial Artist like him couldn’t sustain the consumption without any breaks.

However, the Heavenly Strength Society had come in prepared, following the Inescapable Arrow’s brief pause, Cheon Chang threw out a charged spear at the Demon Lord just as the rest of the monsters were almost out!

The Absolute Spear obviously couldn’t risk throwing the Black Dragon away at the start of the battle, but this state of emergency was enough for him to take a couple of spears from the treasury to use as javelins. Regardless, all he needed was something to conduct the Black Dragon’s wrath.

Clap!

The sky was already turning cloudy as a response to the unnatural opening of the crack, making the environment perfect for it to darken and rain the jolts of plasma down at the Demon Lord.

“You think I wouldn’t if I could? This situation is inevitable no matter how you try to avoid it. Even if it wasn’t me, others would have come to predate on the fat lump of resources that is your world.”

Surprisingly enough, unlike the sturdy Poison Dragon, smoke radiated out of the Demon Lord’s body who was 1.5 larger. His scales looked like they had become slightly brittle under Cheon Chang’s Death Lightning. However…

Tap! Tap! Tap!

It was then that the monsters finally escaped the bounds of the crack! Like a horde of agitated animals, they flooded out towards the frozen Martial Artists!

“So… Just obediently let go of your lives!”

The Demon Lord’s large wings popped out from under the ashes as he flew above the rampaging monsters, propping his long neck to launch his head at humanity’s defense forces.

“Watch out!”

Sparks could be already seen rising from the Demon Lord’s mouth, learning from their last experience. Everyone could tell that the Dragon was releasing its breath, but…

“I refuse!”

The Heavenly Demon spread his wings as he rose into the sky, shooting up like a bullet and expressing his refusal physically by punching the Demon Lord’s lower jaw!

“We just have to take care of you and whoever crosses over later.”

Bang!

The Demon Lord stopped his fire breath halfway but a small explosion still occurred inside of his mouth as both jaws clapped on each other. The lower rung of the human forces shook in fear at the sight of the horde approaching them, but they felt reassured that someone was taking care of the big baddie… Almost too much.

Is this really the herald of the end? The horde of the monsters was indeed an extinction-level disaster, but their head didn’t seem that much stronger than the dragon that they had already dealt with before. Was his strength just focused on opening the path?

“You won’t understand! No one ever understands! This is just the law of life. You can’t stop the endless cycle of consumption!”

Still, Although he wasn’t at the despairing level that everyone expected, the Dragon wasn’t an easy opponent. Exchanging blows with such a giant creature in the air showed just how fearsome the Heavenly Demon was.

Other powerhouses were confident in being capable of taking him down with numbers, but no one could boast of being able to fight this fiery dragon on their own!

“Brace for the impact! Keep up the formations!”

Zhuge Gun’s voice rose from the backline of the army. The battle in the air was important, but so was the battle on the ground. Victory could only be achieved by winning both, the true start was here!
