” What do the celestials want? “

It was Regus Aurelius who asked this question to Micheal, his attitude as serious as ever.

It was hard to imagine, but in this council of powerhouses where everyone was discussing serious issues, Regus Aurelius stood out as the no- nonsense guy.

In every meeting no matter what the agenda was, Regus only talked to the point and never whined or complained about anything.

He was only concerned about his own people and everything else was just secondary to him.

In a way, he was the best monarch.

” The celestials don’t want us to rip apart the universe. If we fight on planets and make them uninhabitable for generations to come, they think it will affect the karma balance and generation of divine essence too much.

They want us to settle our issues in a separate plane, under the queen’s monitoring, all while they derive the utmost joy watching us struggle ” Micheal said through gritted teeth as this proposal was extremely detrimental to them who had fortifications on their homelands against the dark faction invaders.

If someone wanted to conquer the heavens where the angels resided it would be 100 times harder than facing the angel army in an open battlefield because not only did the angel army have defensive constructs and weapons mounted in their home fields, but they also had the advantage of a known terrain where they could advance or retreat at will.

If the celestials forced them to take the fight to another plane then the fight would shift from a tactical perspective.

It would become a fight where the numbers game and the individual prowess of monarchs and gods would matter more than the strategy of battle.

” What is the exact proposal? ” Neatwit inquired

” The celestials will create a dimensional plane that can be entered from either a teleportation gate or through the system planets.

It will be a massive battlefield like the one where most of the action happened back in the chaos era, but since the goal here is the elimination of either the light faction or the dark, it will be set in the style of a game.

Both the light and the dark faction would have 1000 orbs and 10 discs to protect, scattered throughout the battlefield.

With every 100 orbs destroyed, a raid will be activated on one of the 10 discs randomly.

The war ends in one of two ways.

1)The enemy side is completely wiped out down to the last soldier.

2) All 10 discs are destroyed.

It’s basically a situation where all of us would have to pool our resources to fight one big common battle.

The area of the battle will be a ‘ Battle-Zone ‘ and hence deaths will be permanent.

Although no planets or physical infrastructure would be destroyed as a result of the war, keeping the civilians away from the mess, it would be hell for the fighters.

If we win, we wipe out the dark faction and decide the fate of all surviving dark faction god’s.

If they win, they decide the fate of all remaining light faction god’s and get to rule all our territories.

It’s an insidious game but a game that we must play nonetheless… ” Micheal explained as silence permeated throughout the room.

Everyone was forced to be on the same boat by the celestials now.

With this war setting the entire light faction had to become one single unit because their survival was interdependent.

( Meanwhile Mira )

” RUN MIRA, GO! I WILL FIND YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE, I PROMISE! ” Rhea shouted desperately to her daughter as she fought off against the devil Lucifer and his army of demons.

” FATHER! HE KILLED FATHER! ” Mira shouted in mad fury, as she did not heed the command of her mother and let out a devastating Dragons Breath that killed a dozen demons.

” Ho- the infinite mana sweetheart has quite the skills ” Lucifer said with a sinister smile on his face as he eyed Mira as if she were a delicious toy.

” DON’T YOU DARE LOOK AT MY DAUGHTER” Rhea snapped back as she summoned a wind vortex, hoping to push Lucifer back through the power of a strong gale.

” MIRA DON’T BE AN IDIOT! DRAGOON IS DEAD, DON’T MAKE ME LOSE BOTH MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER IN THE SAME DAY, RUN! ” Rhea half shouted and half pleaded with her daughter.

Everything was looking bright the past few days, her husband Dragoon was close to negotiating peace with the rebelling clans and it seemed like everything would have returned to normalcy, however, then suddenly Lucifer appeared out of nowhere and ambushed dragoon, behind him were a team of 5 dark faction sovereigns that began wreaking havoc on the base of the black and golden dragon.

Dragoon fought the invaders like a true dragon King, him alone pushing back 3 dark faction sovereigns as he even managed to injure Kane seriously.

But at that moment, the dastardly Lucifer brought out his sword that was now infused with the seed of darkness and began his assault on Dragoon with the added assistance of two demon sovereigns.

In a mighty battle that lasted 3 hours, Dragoon was slowly battered down bit by bit by bit as Satan kept Rhea at bay, preventing her from interfering in battle.

In a moment that was sure to haunt Mira for the rest of her life, she saw the dark elf sovereign and the shaman god Memphidos chain her father down, his majestic wings bound by countless divine chains as Lucifer decapitated him using the darkness sword.

The dragon King was dead…. Everything was lost and the perpetrator of this event, the rascal Lucifer only stood proudly over the corpse of the golden dragon as he laughed a maniacal laughter.

Mira could not retreat now! Her mind clouded by rage and hatred had no fear of death as all it seemed was revenge.

But at that moment she seemed to feel a call from Max who seemed to call for her through his soul connection.

That coupled with her mother’s angry shouts seemed to give her a moment’s clarity as she accepted Max’s request and fled the chaotic battlefield.
