Kremeth cast a sound isolation spell around the two of them although they had walked a fair distance away from the time chamber.

” Boy, I don’t know how to say it softly so I’ll just put it bluntly.

You’re fucked ” Kremeth said as he sighed and looked like he aged another five years just by saying this sentence.

Max had not expected their reunion to go this way, he was borderline excited at the prospect of training with his master Kremeth once again, however, his master did not seem very enthusiastic about the same prospect.

” What happened master? ” Max asked worriedly as Kremeth racked his brains on how to explain the situation in the best way possible to Max.

” See, boy, that white dome there it’s a time chamber that took us centuries to build from the inside.

Angakok is in possession of a rare treasure called the ‘ Time Seed ‘ , a tier10 treasure that contains the power of the absolute laws of the universe.

It is because of that treasure that this unique structure was completed and the time inside that small looking chamber flows at an incredibly slow pace as compared to the outside world.

The time dilation is at about 1 day outside being equivalent to 1 year inside the chamber.

This means if someone trains for about 3 centuries inside that chamber it would have only been a year in the outside world.

I think you are smart enough for me to not point out the obvious advantages of having access to such a structure, which brings us to the part where you are supposed to go inside of it for training….. ” Kremeth said as he summed up the entire situation for Max before specifying his specific position.

Max was impressed by the creation of such an impressive structure, even in this world of magic, something that could dilate time to such an extent was unheard of.

There were time chambers in the universe but even the best ones could only stretch an hour out for two hours at best, but none of them had such a potent ability, not even close.

Despite the advantages, Max would not really want to be the guy who trained inside it for a year and came out the other side 3 centuries older.

” Can we like take Angakok on together? Can we beat him and rob him of his time seed and then take control of the chamber? ” Max asked as he made violent fisting actions to support his point, however Kremeth just sighed at the question.

” Even if me, Dharti and Knum try to take him on together, the fight won’t last more than an hour.

That guy is a true powerhouse even amongst god’s and I’m no longer in my prime.

I’m old, boy, for the most part my power level is locked at tier7 while I can maintain my tier8 form for just a few short minutes.

For me to go into that chamber and pass you the legacy of the way of the wind is already the most difficult decision I’ve made in the last 500 years “. Kremeth said as he opened Max’s eyes to reality.

Angakok was way stronger than his master Kremeth, so much so that even if two other ancient powerhouses combined strengths alongside him, they would not last an hour against Angakok.

It was a truly scary thought, but it just showed his hierarchy in the pecking order.

” So I’m doomed to go in there and train? For how long do you think ? ” Max asked, his gut wrenching at the very thought of losing decades worth of time inside the chamber while only a few days pass in reality.

” Depends on you, by my estimate you will need 30 years worth of training to complete [ Way Of The Wind ] to its maximum potential, so about 30 days.

You have already completed the Agni-Astra so you are in possession of the complete control over the fire element.

By my estimates you should learn [ Way Of Water ] and [ Way Of Earth ] in about 30 days each as well which will leave about a decade or so of stat maximisation training for you. All in all you will spend close to 100 days inside the chamber for about a century.

Since you are a vampire who is at the tier5 power level, you will be a middle aged man with a few grey hair by the time you complete the training.

If you were a god, you would not have aged in just a century, but since you are not, it will take a toll on you ” Kremeth said as he gave Max the estimated scenario.

Max felt his heart drop at this estimate, so far he had no idea that he would be forced to study [ way of the wind ] and the other elemental ways to maximisation and for what?

” What’s Angakok’s game in all this? Why does he care if I learn the elemental ways or not? Why does he care if I complete stat maximisation or not? What is his end-game in all this? ” Max asked agitatedly as he hoped Kremeth would have an answer to the question that had been gnawing at him for a long time.

” I don’t know boy, as for why do you need to master the elemental ways, it’s because of the tier6 promotion test that will be a test of your comprehension about the four basic elements, space and time.

It’s the only tier promotion test which is near impossible to get a SSS rating on as it’s impossible to have over 90% comprehension of all four basic elements and over 60% comprehension of the two advanced elements while being a mortal.

It’s clear that the training you are to undergo is to prepare you for the tier6 promotion test, but as for why Angakok is preparing you for that test is what I don’t know ” Kremeth said dejected, as it was the same question that had been gnawing at his heart as well.
