After scouting Jathi, Max and Anna returned to Dombivli City where they were re-swamped with pending administrative work.

Max had to oversee a lot of meeting and progress reports as the various plans he had for his territory were finally out of the planning phase with every small detail ironed out and were ready to undergo the execution period.

Being a lord was not easy at all and Max found little to no spare time for himself.

In this period Drax kept pestering him to not neglect his training as every free hour that he had was spent in the mirror world training against the Drax controlled clone and every other hour was spent working in his office.

Thankfully, with Mira seemingly working hard, Max did not need to worry about his level slacking as he levelled up once almost every one or two passing weeks.

In a blink of an eye two weeks passed and the day came when Jathi moved with his immediate aides to Dombivli City as after a series of important meetings with top officials, he was settled into his new underground lair within the inner district.

The first and immediate mission that Jathi was entrusted by Asiva was to keep tabs on the succession war between Lucius and Felix and get a concrete list of which lords were supporting which side.

The war of succession was turning up in heat and Asiva did not want to be oblivious to the day to day developments.

( Meanwhile Rhea )

Rhea read the report on how Max was jumping from place to place recruiting talents.

Rhea was both pleasantly surprised and perplexed with the report as on one end Zippo seemed to be praising Max’s insight for having an eye for talent giving high evaluation to both DarkSorrow and Jathi, but on the other hand he was also unable to understand how Max figured out that they were the exact individuals that he needed to scout.

He had not personally met them beforehand nor did he seem to have some extensive list to choose from.

But right from the start he was sure of where to go and whom to find as if he knew them very well.

With Zippo being his shadow for all hours of the day, the guard was sure that Max was in possession of some secret means or knowledge that common individuals should not have, and that he was hiding a big trump card from the world.

A Trump card that was most likely the source of his ridiculous strength and fast growth.

Praising Zippo for his good work, Rhea told him to keep an eye on Max and to keep probing him for his hidden secret.

Rhea had her own suspicions regarding Max’s secret, which is why she felt that her decision to keep him under surveillance 24/7 was a good choice.

( Meanwhile Regus Aurelius )

Regus read the report on the latest mass recruitment drive and infrastructure projects that the Bloodfall clan had launched and clicked his tongue in discomfort.

On one hand he was happy that Ravan was a capable administrator that would bring prosperity to the vampire society, but on the other hand he really disliked the boy to his core.

He had not forgotten his latest humiliation during his coronation and the cringe moment’s of that ceremony still kept him awake at night.

Although the report pointed out the flaw that Max should technically not have the money to finance all these projects at once, Regus knew about his little adventure with Lucius, which is why he understood how Ravan secured the funds needed to finance these projects.

Being the King, he was entitled to a % of any ruins exploration findings, but since neither Lucius nor Ravan had reported their findings he could only let the matter slide because he could not punish one without punishing the other and he did not wish to punish the hardworking kid Lucius who had been on his first adventure for nothing.

Circumstances were forcing his hand to not act against Ravan, Max Rajput and the Bloodfall clan for now, however, Regus was only waiting for the slightest mistake to unleash his wrath.

( Meanwhile Naomi and Ruby )

After becoming a lord, Max had written a long letter to his two sisters in law as he explained in-depth about his improved living standards and his journey to become a lord.

Inside the letter, he expressed his regret on not being able to visit home due to being swamped with work, and promised to bring the kids and them to his palace for a visit once the security situation improved inside dombivli.

He also expressed his desire to marry Asiva in the coming months and although he had not planned the exact particulars he wanted both his sisters in law to start planning the wedding on their end.

Reading the letter, Ruby and Naomi cried a little as they hugged each other in joy.

They were very proud and happy that Max was doing so well in life and that he had became a Lord, while they were also glad that he was inviting them to his new palace to spend the summer.

Although their palace-like mansion on planet Radiance was beyond comfortable, life within the same place over an extended period of time had become a little mundane for them.

A little change of environment was more than welcome for their mental health as well as the happiness of the kids.

Jake and Amy had started to attend school now and could speak endlessly all-day long while kartikeya the little devil was finally starting to speak in broken sentences.

In a way it was the most golden phase of their childhood with chaos ensuing inside the Rajput mansion day-in and day-out, the only regret of the two mothers was that their father was not there to witness the growth of his lovely children and his adult brother.
