As soon as Severus left Max rubbed his temples for a while but then began to smile.

He had an ace in the bag that could tip the scales of the war before the fight ever started, but his morals as a human being and as a light faction fighter discouraged him from using such despicable means to tackle his enemies, however, now that he had found that his enemies broke the bottom line themselves, he had no qualms about using it anymore.

Since the enemy was colluding with dark faction shamans to spy and obtain information on the vampire camp, Max felt that his decision to unleash the death plaque on the enemy camp was definitely justified.

In terms of sinisterness, it was definitely a sinister move that may end up taking lives of innocent civilians who would only be doing chores in the enemy fort, but like Severus reported, there were no ‘ Civilians ‘ amongst the Barbarian race as a whole as every last one of them was a damn fighter.

Hence, after thinking about it hard, Max decided that since he could weaken the enemy forces by unleashing that move he should definitely do it.

Max had never used the move [ Death Plaque ] in real life, but he had used it inside the mirror world where he knew that the attack sapped on his MP constantly for the entire duration that it was active, and summoned rodents that were carriers of a deadly plaque and who could be given a rough set of coordinates and instructions by Max to follow.

Once the move was active, Max needed to tend to it continuously and needed to replenish his mana every time it neared bottoming out to maintain the spell for longer durations.

After making sure that the blinds on his office were firmly closed and no bird could get a peek of what he was working on, Max finally used the spell [ Death Plague ] as he summoned an army of 500 rats that looked like they had been zombified, before giving them the coordinates of the northern fortress and instructing them to contaminate the food, water and a handful of sleeping humans with the plaque.

After receiving his instruction the mice instantly went to work as they ran out of his office in a single file and disappeared into the nearby woods, headed straight for the northern-eastern fortress.

All Max had to do now was to wait for them to start infecting the barbarians and maintain the spell long enough for it to be an epidemic.

( Meanwhile Rudra )

” I got it ” Rudra said as he opened his eyes and figured out the 7th law of the universe.

His eyes radiated an incredible amount of power capable of incinerating a tier 5 mortal through sight alone as Rudra attained a higher level of understanding on a fundamental law of the universe.

Rudra already had grip over 6 laws of the universe when he became a tier 6 god, namely

Fire

Water

Wind

Earth

Space

Time

However, today he figured out the 7th law of the universe which was ‘Chaos’

Before being in contact with the seed of chaos the tier 10 treasure, Rudra had thought that chaos was the energy that existed in the universe before the universe came into being. However, after coming into contact with the seed of chaos he finally understood the true meaning behind the energy.

By rule of thumb, creation and destruction could not coexist with each other.

It was akin to mana and anti-mana which were created to oppose and neutralise each other, however, chaos was an energy which was created by the equilibrium between opposing energies.

Anything opposite in nature could create chaos energy.

Life and death force

Mana and anti-mana force

Creation and destruction force

Push and pull force

The only prerequisite was to be able to fuse the two energies in such high rotational velocities that they blended into a mixture called ‘ chaos ‘ rather than neutralising one another.

With Rudra mastering the concept of chaos energy, he became the master of every opposing force in nature as he could wield both sides of the coins namely mana and anti-mana as he could pull them apart from every strand of chaos energy.

The chaos seed ingrained deeply in his body was constantly collecting contrasting energies from the environment and spinning it into an incredibly high velocity to create threads of chaos which were a source of energy Rudra was unable to wield properly uptil now.

But now that he understood the law behind the energy it opened an entirely undiscovered Avenue of attacks and applications for the mastermind strategist to learn from.

Rudra could potentially create the anti-mana version of every mana attack that he knew and use it to completely nullify the attacks and traps of his enemy.

He could become the only warrior in the universe to wield anti-mana as well as mana and both of them together as chaos energy.

” Your time for reckoning is nearing, universal queen, you have chosen to mess with the wrong person this time.

The day my body is completely reconstructed and I return to the universe, I swear on my ancestors grave that there will be pandemonium.

That day will be the start of the end for you and the dark faction as I will personally route you from the face of this universe “. Rudra said as he closed his eyes and went back into his deep meditation state.

Update on my health situation: Guys I’m feeling better, the fever has gone down and I’m definitely able to look at my screen now without shedding tears from the cold flu.
