Sigfried was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of attacks coming towards himself from all directions.

He was capable of handling every single one of the attacks individually, but together it was extremely difficult.

It was like a dungeon boss-fight, where a party fought off an end level boss by working together.

Max was the principal damage dealer, his job was to inflict maximum DPS and he did exactly that with his fire powers.

Using the Angi-Astra, his racial skill the Dragons Breath alongside Anna’s dragon who covered him with flame attacks of his own, Max was the one person Sigfried was focused on taking out first because of the constant pressure he was capable of creating.

Severus was the chief scout and defender. His job was to block any counter attempts by the enemy and ensure the safety of the long ranged fighters Anna and Asiva.

Anna was the chief long range damage dealer, aiming directly for the enemy’s vitals and weak spots as the enemy tried to keep Max and the dragon at bay.

Asiva was the long range disruptor, apart from aiming for vitals, she waited patiently for the enemy to start a counter so that she could throw a dagger at the right time and stop the counter attempt dead in its tracks.

This party structure was created organically with nobody having to define the roles for the others.

The chemistry between all involved was also excellent, as it was only through teamwork that the group was able to push a strong opponent like Sigfried back.

One could see the frustration grow in Sigfrieds eyes as he kept losing HP bit by bit while a despicable dagger shot at the wrong time would force him to defend instead of letting him counter.

” You despicable bastards, fight me one on one ” Sigfried roared as he unleashed his best technique the [ 12 sword strike ] once more, hoping to create some separation and breathing room for him to manoeuvre around.

Sigfried expected everyone to dodge or block the attack, but Max unexpectedly decided to take the damage at the risk of throwing yet another Frost Bomb towards Sigfried.

The single diagonal of the dodecagon aimed at Max cut straight through Max’s armour and laid a cross laceration across his body chopping nearly 50% of Max’s total health bar from a single attack, but it was all worth it in Max’s eyes as in-return the frost bomb exploded straight at Sigfried’s face causing him to freeze over once more as well as dealing major damage.

Max was feeling pain all over, but he also understood that it was the best opportunity to counterattack, as he clutched his sword hard, activated his sword intent and went in for the finishing strike.

” GUYS NOW! ” Max yelled as he urged everyone to use their best attacks, as Anna used [ Power Shot ] Asiva used [ Multiple Dagger Throw ] and Severus charged behind Max with his broom.

The arrow pierced through the ice first, cracking it and landing straight over Sigfrieds heart dealing -24,000 damage.

The dagger hit the ice next, and caused multiple cracks to form on the ice later nearly cracking the structure open but not dealing any damage as the penetration power was not enough.

However, because the ice was about to break Max’s [ Overhead Slash ] crushed the frozen ice to bits and pieces as a powerful blow landed straight on Sigfried’s head.

Sigfried’s HP was at a dangerously red level at this second with barely 5% of his HP bar left, yet his fate was sealed because Max’s attack straight to his temple had stunned him for 3 seconds.

The killing blow came from Severus, who swung his metal broom like it was the most dangerous weapon in the world, whacking it with the power of all his body, all his muscles and all his frustrations as the blow cracked open the enemy’s skull and sent his HP to a 0.

” AGHHHHHH ” Severus let out a primal roar, as a mad expression could be seen on the usually intelligent and calm sweepers face as he stood over the dead body of Sigfried, holding his bloody broom tightly in his hands.

Max sat flat on the ground, trying to catch his breath as Anna and Asiva laughed and hugged each other over the win.

” We won … ” Anna said in a soft tone, not being able to believe that they actually pulled it off.

That they killed a peak tier 4 warrior!

After hugging Anna, Asiva rushed upto Severus for a hug as for the first time ever, the emotions she saw Severus go through made her feel grateful to have a Godfather like him.

Max calmly drank a health potion followed by some blood as he happily saw the group celebrate the victory.

After hugging Severus, Asiva looked at Max with teary eyes.

Now that she saw him with patience she noticed that his body structure was much different than she remembered and that he was no longer wearing robes to cover all of his skin, but rather had an almost reptilian skin that was immune to the sun.

His eyes had changed from a blood red, to blood red with reptilian features as he almost looked like a dragon transformed as a vampire.

What did not change however was his goofy smile and domineering attitude that made Asiva feel like she was ‘ Safe ‘ with him around.

A dam of emotions that she had suppressed for long, finally began to break now that her life was no longer in danger as she began running upto Max to do something that she wanted to do for a longtime.

She had waited for 2.5 years to confess her feelings, but she did not want to wait any longer.

Rushing up to her man, she knew exactly what she wanted to do, and it was not the hug that Max was expecting as he stood with his arms stretched wide.
