” YES! “. Max shouted inside the gravity chamber as he finally completed the agility stat maximisation.

It was only 3 days till the start of the Dragon’s Paradise dungeon and Max was growing desperate on whether or not he would become tier2 before the expedition.

His constitution stat had maximised recently, however, his agility stat took the longest to be completely maximised.

‘ Good job kid ‘, Grandpa Drax congratulated Max as he acknowledged all the hard work he had put in.

” Thank you grandpa, but this only means we have a big day tomorrow. We need to attempt the tier 2 promotion test and pass with a good rating”.

‘ Not a good rating kid, S or higher at the least, I’d say SSS but I’m not sure you can hack it ‘. Drax said expressing his true feelings

‘ Oh believe in me, I can hack it’. Max said, confidently.

Drax smiled an AI smile, ever since he had been with Max he had only seen a trembling teenager, but slowly Max was starting to shape into a fine man.

‘ I think you should rest up early today Max, so that you are at your peak for test tomorrow ‘ Drax suggested as Max heeded his suggestion and walked out of the gravity training chamber early for the first time ever.

Even the attendant on the door was surprised to see Max leave early, as Max flashed him a ‘V’ sign on the way out.

” So you did it huh? “. A voice sounded behind Max, but thankfully this time it was not Severus.

” Yes, sir principal, I’ve maxed out tier1 “. Max replied with an honest smile as the principal patted his shoulders with pride.

” Haha, all these years and finally I have ONE student under me to complete the program, the first one in five decades “. The principal said emotionally, he was feeling extremely happy today.

A few tears streamed down the principal’s cheeks as he said ” I’ll remember this favour boy, you can come to me whenever you want guidance even after your university semester is over.

If you persevere on the path of the perfect warrior, I’ll forever guide you as your senior”.

Max bowed deeply, this meant as much to him as it did to the principal.

The principal thought that he would never see a student walk on his path in this lifetime, however, his dream finally came true in the student Max.

( Meanwhile Sebastian )

Today was a big day for the young priest. He had especially prayed long and hard for Beniogre’s blessing and drank many potions to temporarily increase his strength for the day.

” Is the body ready? ” He asked, as the body of a recently dead dwarf was pulled towards the priest for inspection.

” Hmm, no injuries, the body is yet to start rotting, it’s perfect ” the young soulmancer said as he gave the body a green light.

An entourage of priests walked towards Sebastian’s dungeon cell only to find an extremely skinny looking and near dead Sebastian hanging from the chains there.

Sebastian’s HP was at a pitifully low level, however, whenever he tried to self inflict damage and die, he would be restrained by the guards and healed by the healers so that even if he did not wish to live, he was forced to live in his confines.

” You’re here, you evil snake, here to torture me again? ” Asmodeus said in a weak voice as his body no longer had the strength to shout.

” Hand me the knife “. The young priest demanded, as he was handed a legendary grade artefact.

” Hold him tight”. The priest ordered as five soldiers held Sebastian’s frail body tightly.

The priest began chanting ancient hyms, as he started to carve Asmodeus’s flesh, every word that he spoke seemingly destroying Asmodeus’s soul.

” AGHHHH “. Asmodeus screamed and struggled violently with such vigour that even the five guards felt being pushed to their limits in holding him still.

” YOU BASTARD DON’T DO IT”. Asmodeus screamed, he knew what this procedure was and it was one of the worst punishments that could be given to a greater demon like him.

The priest did not care for Asmodeus’s screams as he continued to draw runes all over Asmodeus’s forehead, the blood oozing out of his carving being black in colour instead of the red in human veins.

” Let me go, please I beg you, let me go ” Asmodeus started to beg moments later as the demon who did not yield to days of torture finally reached his breaking point.

Unfortunately for him however, nobody in the room had any mercy for him as the soulmancer forcefully extracted Sebastian’s vegetative soul from his body and alongside it pulled out 95% of Asmodeus’s knowledge and talent as he placed them inside the body of the recently dead dwarf.

” Resuscitate him “. The young priest ordered, as the other priests began to give the dwarf some sort of CPR.

The moment Sebastian’s soul was pulled out, major changes began happening to his body as his fair skin began to blacken as his white pupils turned into a demonic black.

” You bastards what have you done ” Asmodeus said, his voice now sounding like a hoarse proper demon as he truly felt powerless for the first time in his two lifetimes.

The dwarf body opened its eyes, however began getting a seizure instantly and lost HP at an extremely fast rate.

At this instant the priest took out from his inventory a liquid with such radiance and power that it nearly blinded everyone in the room.

” Is that divine essence? “. One priest asked as he looked at the drop of liquid lustfully.

” No, it’s 1/1,000,000 th part of divine essence which is then diluted with 20 parts of water “. The priest replied nonchalantly as he poured the one drop inside the dwarfs mouth.

” Gahhh “. Sebastian the dwarf gasped loudly as he felt his brain be kickstarted with an electric shock, like a car motor being restarted after 20-30 years of staying idle.

His HP stopped falling rapidly, but his mana veins felt like they were on fire.
