An ambush!

The two beings at the peak of the First Firmament of Ascendancy were waiting to ambush a Primordial as in turn, they actually faced an ambush themselves as the Tyrant Beast Pyxis was heavily injured during the first strike.

“ROAAR!”

He bellowed out with anger as his Origin and soul felt pain not just from his body, but more so from his two Ascendancy Halos that actually dimmed after shockingly being cut by a crimson halo!

Yet Pyxis didn’t even get time to relax as the maddened figure of Hyperion surged out, his body taking the form of an even more fearsome Draconic-Elephantine creature after fusing with his half Halo as his golden trunk smashed down towards the Winged Tiger!

“We’re both Primordial Beasts born for the same purpose!”

BOOOM!

The golden trunk was built like metal as it was countered by Pyxis’s remaining claw, sparks flying out as the body of Hyperion became even more ferocious.
