67 – Another side of Rachel

The day when the colors of spring completely dyed the world. With the help of magic, they arrived at the land of green where the elves live.

Following the princess’s words that there was something to be received from the elves, the place I came to was an overwhelming sight more than what I had seen in the book.

I heard the princess’s voice right behind me, and saw Rachel holding a dagger. Rachel’s dagger formed a blue light, and the light flew in the shape of a half moon toward the top of the tree.

A sharp explosion was heard, and an elf fell and tumbled unsightly on the ground. After that, two elves appeared, landing lightly.

Suddenly, the elves glared at us and aimed their bows at us. The tallest man among the elves opened his mouth.

“Why did dirty humans and dark elves come here?”

Rachel opened her mouth with a slightly annoyed expression.

“Is there anyone older than you?”

Words that were clearly different from Rachel’s usual tone spread, and an arrow flew towards her.

The straight arrows split into Rachel’s dagger.

“Did you guys learn how to answer like this? I don’t think Uncle Pale would have taught me that.”

A voice filled with anger spread, and three arrows flew towards Rachel. Rachel, still with a troubled expression on her face, lightly hit the arrow.
