I Was Sick of Loving You chapter 64

64 – Normal morning

The cold wind of the night tickled the bridge of my nose and opened my heavy eyes. At the edge of the world covered in darkness, I see a weak blue light that will brighten the dawn.

It’s too early to wake up, too early to go back to sleep. At such a time, I stretched and drove away the afterglow of sleep.

I looked at Rachel, who drove away the afterglow of sleep and clung to me to give me warmth. He opened his mouth a little and gently stroked her hair as she slept. I stroked her hair like that and conveyed my feelings in a small voice.

“Thanks to your help, I was able to convey my feelings to Alik. Thank you, friend.”

Maybe it’s because I’ve kept unfamiliar and unfamiliar words in my mouth, and I feel ashamed.

Rachel will like it if I get used to it quickly, but it’s still too difficult for me.

He muttered to himself, tidying up her protruding hair. As she straightened her hair, a faint smile appeared on her face.

Are you having a good dream? That would be great.

I stroked her hair one last time and carefully got out of the seat.

I got out of my seat and cautiously approached Alik’s side and looked at him asleep. A face that is difficult to think of as a warrior who always jumps into the battlefield at the forefront catches the eye.

And the image of him at the time of his death comes to mind clearly. White hair and scarred skin. And wrinkles with pain. The vivid memories of the scars bring back the pain again.

Without averting her eyes from the pain, she gently stroked his head. So, holding him in his hand, he opened his mouth.

“Thank you for staying by my side even though you suffered so much.”

The wind blows and the words scatter, and the cool wind creates a light wrinkle between his eyebrows. Looking at those wrinkles, the throbbing pain grows stronger.

Without turning away from the pain of growing in size, he opened his mouth again.

“When your memories come back, I was going to convey my feelings, but I couldn’t stand it because I was inexperienced, so I told you yesterday. I did it like that, and I was scared. I was afraid of being rejected by you.”

My stupid and immature mind throbs.

“Fortunately, you accepted. I don’t know if you accepted me because you were kind, or if you accepted me out of a crush in your heart, but I was happy. I was so happy that I cried.”

Warmth comes from beyond the throbbing heart.

“I couldn’t control that happiness, so I hugged you. Your bewildered expression was clearly conveyed. Your hand wandered like a lost man, then you accepted me. I was glad that You were so lovable and cute.”

Warmth embraces a throbbing heart.

“Looking at you like that, anticipation bloomed. I look forward to seeing you contemplating what kind of expression you will make and what kind of attitude you should take in the future. If you approach to close the distance, I expect you to panic and try to forcefully hide it.”

After saying that, a smile came out.

“I’m also very shady. Is it because of Rachel’s influence? If Rachel heard it, she would be angry.”

“Why is that because of my influence! It’s just that the shadyness that was hiding in your sister’s heart has been revealed!”

I could clearly imagine her reaction, and laughter leaked out again. To keep them from waking up, I continued talking quietly, suppressing the laughter that leaked out.

“I look forward to seeing what kind of reaction you will show when your memories return. Will you laugh at my confession? Or should I put on a bewildered expression like now and hug you with a smile?”

A cold wind blows again. The chilly wind blows up the throbbing again.

“I was thinking too much. I told you that you didn’t hate me, that you were happy. There will still be scars in your heart. I was excited by myself and made a stupid noise. I’m sorry.”

The throbbing pain that came back grew stronger. When the growing throbbing pushed out the warmth, the warmth came.

He struggled in the chilly wind, and his arm reached for mine. Just the warmth that touched his struggles pushed away the throbbing pain that had grown endlessly.

Laughter leaked out of his heart, which was greatly shaken by his meaningless little action. I held back the emotions that leaked out, and continued talking again.

“I can’t live without you. You have deeply infiltrated my life, to the extent that my heart shakes here and there with each of your facial expressions and movements.”

I stroked the head of the man who had become my life itself. A faint smile appeared on his face. Warmth permeates the figure deeply.

As I was passing the time stroking him like that, fragments of a dream flowed from his mouth.

“Mother…”

At those words, old memories come to the surface.

It reminds me of him spending the day quietly drinking alcohol on his mother’s anniversary at the end of winter.

“I have to visit my mother, but I don’t have the confidence to explain it to you now. I’m sorry. Next time around this time, let’s go see each other. Forgive me for being cowardly.”

I stroked his dreaming head again and kissed him on the cheek. A warm feeling spreads in your mouth.

I put that warmth in my heart and looked at the brightening world. The appearance of evening primroses falling asleep as morning comes and the birds announcing the morning.

It’s so beautiful that it looks cold. It feels that way because he is there.

“The morning has come again today.”

In the morning that always comes, I offer a prayer of thanks to the miracle that gave me another chance. After praying, it was time to wake them up.

I stroked his hair one last time before waking them up. As he passed into my hand, the wind blew and his eyes slowly opened.

Blue eyes meet my gaze, hiding and coming out several times. And from his mouth came a voice filled with the afterglow of a dream.

“Princess?”

“Yes, it is me.”

His eyes, still immersed in the afterglow of the dream, hide and then come out again and again.

“Is this a dream?”

Laughter leaked out of his blank voice.

“It is not a dream.”

Without removing the hand that was stroking his hair, he stroked it until the afterglow of the dream dissipated. As I stroked him like that, the afterglow of a dream began to dissipate on his face. A red light permeated the place where the afterglow was scattered. Seeing that, he smiled and opened his mouth.

“Good morning.”

“Joe, good morning. More than that, Princess, what are you doing now?”

In the voice of embarrassment, a little mischievous mind rises.

“Are there any problems?”

“That is not the problem.”

Saying that, the way he forcibly hides his embarrassment is lovely and makes me want to play a little. I took his head carefully and placed it on my thigh.

“Gong, princess?”

“Don’t shout too much. Rachel is still sleeping.”

I pressed him with my hand to stop him from trying to get up, and pointed out the growing voice and turned the conversation around.

“No, what is this?”

“I gave my fiancé a knee. Is there any problem?”

“It’s not that, but that, that.”

His mischievous feelings grow because he is lovely to see him acting like a broken golem.

“I’m sorry you’re embarrassed. I did a lot for you.”

His eyes get lost and wander. The sight made me laugh again.

As I learned from Rachel, it works well when I mix lies.

I was dubious about what she told me, saying it was useful advice, but when I saw the effect with my own eyes, I felt grateful.

“Did you really?”

“That’s right. I used to lend you a knee like this while you were sleeping.”

He reached out again and stroked his hair, tidying up the protruding hair.

“I even got my hair done like this.”

A look of bewilderment creeps across his face. The look is lovely.

“Because that was before I lost my memory… No, no. Do whatever you want.”

It is lovely to see him quickly give up after saying something that is deeply permeated with bewilderment.

“I will.”

As I was stroking his hair until I was satisfied, I heard Rachel’s voice.

“Oh~, you two are sweet since morning.”

“No, this is not that.”

“Brother, why are you trying to make excuses? It’s a common thing between lovers.”

“no…”

I can see that he wants to refute Rachel’s words, but he shuts up when he notices me. The way he looks at me and takes care of me is lovely and painful.

“Ah, I didn’t notice. Because he enjoyed doing it in private places. I forgot. I’ll go for a walk, so take it easy and enjoy it.”

“Having fun where no one else can see? What do you mean! Rachel! Rachel! Answer and go!”

Laughter leaked out again at the sight of Rachel teasing him and running away, and the figure of him getting hit by it. I laughed so much and opened my mouth.

“Rachel was just kidding, so don’t worry too much about it.”

“Is it like that?”

“Yeah, just kidding.”

Only then did the embarrassment dissipate from his face.

“The prank is a bit mischievous.”

“Nevertheless, I understand her.”

“What do you mean?”

I kissed him on the cheek as he looked up at me. His face turns reddish. And again, like a broken golem, it opens its mouth.

“This is your reaction, so it is.”

I greeted the morning, brooding over his lovely reaction.
