Fran, moving at high speed with her Brilliant Lightning Rush, attacked Sibylla without pausing. She put all of her might on each slash to slice through Sibylla’s skin and shocking her internal organs.

On the other hand, while instantly regenerating the countless wounds she had taken, Sibylla’s movement did not seem to slow down at all. On the contrary, her speed continued to increase, as if in response to the tension.

The crowd gasps, forgetting to cheer, as the slashing becomes so fast that it is difficult to visually observe. They must have understood that something spectacular is going on.

Yet, despite the intensity of the battle, neither side had taken any noticeable damage. Our attacks seem to go in somewhat deeper, but they are quickly regenerated.

Fran, on the other hand, has been able to dodge all of Sibylla’s attack. The only thing that affected Fran was the exhaustion from using the Brilliant Lightning Rush.

But thanks to the life magic we acquired in the Kingdom of Belios, the exhaustion wasn’t as bad as it should’ve been before.

This may look like a stalemate at first glance, but we’re actually at a disadvantage. After all, we’ll eventually exhausted all of our power. I’m sure that Sibylla’s mysterious defense ability will also drain a lot of magic power, but I don’t know how long she can maintain it.

If it’s more mana efficient that I imagined, the longer this battle goes, the more disadvantageous it will be for us.

I wanted to settle this as soon as possible. We still have body parts that we haven’t been attacking on to target, and one of them is Sibylla’s eye.

Our current attacks are imbued with the divine attribute, so it should have been able to penetrate through her eyes. If our attack managed to penetrate through to the inside of her skull, no matter how solid her defense was, it would surely kill her.
