“So, you’re finally confessing!”

“Don’t shout, moron!”

After school, Asahi and Chiaki were chatting at a diner.

Sitting face to face in the spacious seating area, the two of them were having a great time, ignoring the embarrassment that one felt while the other was laughing in amusement.

“Man, it’s been a long journey.”

“Who are you talking to?”

Asahi laughed lightly, and Chiaki laughed as well.

 

He looked up, thinking it was a waitress, and saw two girls in uniforms standing there.

“Good work at the committee meeting. Did it drag on?”

“You see, the teacher gave me more work…”

 

Hinami sat down next to Chiaki cheerfully.

Inevitably, Fuyuka sat next to Asahi.

The two of them had been on the same committee since they became sophomores, and they had a meeting today apparently.

Asahi and Chiaki took their places first, and then joined them later.

“I thought I’d wait until after you two got here.”

As a couple was making out in front of them, Asahi and Fuyuka were talking in a small voice.

“About summer vacation, we’re talking about where to go during the vacation.”

There was no way they could say everything in front of Fuyuka, so they spat out whatever.

In fact, they had been talking about wanting to play with the group for a while.

“How about the summer festival near for starters!”

He knew what Chiaki was trying to say, but there was nothing to worry about.

Fuyuka suggested that the four of them go together.

Asahi also agreed, and since it was a summer festival, he also wanted to hang out with his good friends.

However, that didn’t mean that he would not confess.

He had already decided not to prolong it any longer.

“I’m looking forward to the summer festival.”

 

When Asahi said that, Hinami exaggeratedly raised her hands and cheered.

After forcing her to get motivated, Asahi started the study session as planned.

When Asahi left his seat to refill the drink bar on the way, Fuyuka followed behind him.

 

“Would you rather if it was just us?”

Fuyuka must be referring to the summer festival.

She peeked at Asahi with a slightly worried look on her face.

“No, I wanted to go with the four of us too.”

 

“Besides,” he continued.

“You never know, we might end up alone together by chance.”

Fuyuka looked at Asahi dumbfounded, who laughed mischievously.

But she quickly broke into a smile, followed by an adorable laugh.
