Adventurers’ Town Expansion Plan 1

 

The group that had been assigned to go with Arte was dismissed on the spot. After informing them that they would receive their reward from Espada later, the adventurers scattered noisily, laughing.

 

After the mechanical archers lined up and reported their results, they went back to Seat Village. Apparently, they did quite well. At the end, I was quietly asked to praise Arte, and the mechanical archers may have liked her.

“Are you going to build something on this street?”

“Yes, that’s right. Most of the travelers and peddlers in the adventurers’ town will pass through without going to Seat Village, so I wanted to place stores, inns, and restaurants in the center of the street where they are sure to pass through.”

“Are you okay? You just got back, you should be taking the rest of the day off.”

 

Arte shook her head and smiled.

 

“Thank you for your concern. But I’m fine. I hired the mechanical bow squad and adventurers because of my selfishness, so I will definitely try my best to help Van-sama this time. For that reason, I thought I would watch your work with you by your side so that I can understand what Van-sama is trying to do and what he is thinking about.”

 

Unusually, Arte made her intentions clear. She looked me straight in the eye.

 

“I see. But if it’s too hard for you to do, please let me know, okay? I’ll have a chair prepared for you, too.”

 

“Thank you very much. But I’ll walk with you.”

Pluriel. Since she was with a large number of adventurers earlier, I offered a few words of thanks to the whole group, but as for Ortho and the others, they would be entertained once again later with a barbecue party.

 

“I’m going to make an Inn now. I got a request the other day, and they want to run an inn.”

 

When I replied, Xsara, who was standing next to Ortho behind Pluriel, tilted his head.

I nodded to Xsara, who muttered, and pointed to a vacant lot.

 

“Ah, right, I remembered Xsara wanting to build an inn, so I’m going to do it.”

 

Pluriel and Ortho turned to Xsara as he replied.

 

“What? My inn?”

 

I nodded my head in agreement to Xsara’s astonishment. Xsara rushed forward as Ortho and the others look at him.

 

“Oh, you’re going to build an inn for us now? I’m pleased to hear that, but I’d like to check on a few things from a financial standpoint… I’ve made a lot more money than I did a year ago, but I don’t think it would be possible for me to buy a store.”

 

Xsara waved one palm from side to side as he said this.

 

“Well, I’ll be giving it to you for fifty gold coins as a service. In addition, I’ll even give you some furniture.”

 

Xsara’s eyes went blank, and Ortho and the others scrunched up their faces as they replied.

 

“Well, that’s a lot of money to build a new store, but it’s a bit tight for us as adventurers.”

 

Even if all the party members pooled their resources, it would still only be about half the cost.

 

As Ortho and the other members of the party were having this conversation, I thought back to the fact that I may have become numb to the situation. However, there was a possibility that someone would want to open a restaurant in the future. If I had to make them for free every time, it would take up a lot of my time, and I might end up getting many orders for free.

As I was thinking this, Xsara looked at me with sweat pouring from his forehead. He snorted like a pervert and asked.

 

“I understand…! I don’t have any money currently, but I’ll earn it in five years!”

 

Xsara exclaimed with a vigor, and Ortho and the others looked at each other and burst out laughing. Then they all looked at me.

After saying that, I start building with the wood blocks I had prepared for him. The image I have in mind is a Gothic architecture hotel with a classic design.

 

Because of its size, it would take some time. I also wanted to build a wine storage room, which was common, so I added a full basement. It was romantic, right?
