Extra Pushover Trains the Bad Girls chapter 29

29 – LH Nun Punishment Act 3

Sister Linda goes to the entrance of the village after hearing that someone is looking for her.

In front of her eyes was a group of people she had never seen before.

“Who are you?”

Sister Linda asks cautiously.

In response, the sharp-looking man at the head of the group spoke to her in a polite voice.

“Nice to meet you. My name is Bahamut Fernandez, I am the head of the Upper Beden. Are you the local parish, Sister Linda Halls?”

“Ah yes. That’s right. I am Linda Halls. Nice to meet you.”

To the fact that the owner of the top of Beden stands in front of him. Linda bowed politely, with a hint of surprise.

She, too, knew very well the reputation of the Beden Merchant, which dominated the commercial districts of Lugano as well as the whole of Schwyz.

Right now, the iron ore being mined here is being distributed to other regions by the Beden Merchant.

Recognizing that the person in front of her was not an ordinary person, Sister Linda cautiously began to notice the other person.

“Well… First of all, since you’ve come a long way, please go inside and talk. I’ll treat you briefly.”

“I will.”

Bahamut readily accepts Linda’s words.

Then he said, looking at the other people accompanying him behind him.

“Let you rest for a while. The story won’t be that long. And… Ophelia.”

“Yes, Master.”

“You come in with me.”

“All right.”

Leaving the others alone, Bahamut and Ophelia began to move, following Sister Linda’s guidance.

Office supervising iron ore mining.

Baramut slowly sat down on a chair in a place that was shabby from the outside to the inside.

The sloppy wooden chair gave off an uncomfortable feeling as it was finely out of balance, and as if it were not a mining office, the inside smelled of iron even though it had been cleaned to some extent.

“I am sorry that the hospitality was poor even though the precious people came. I can’t give you more than this right now.”

As she brought out the water infused with the fruit of the tree, Sister Linda showed a slightly apologetic smile, which Bahamut accepted without much complaint.

“I should be rather grateful for this kind of hospitality in the yard that came without notice. By the way… I’ve heard the story a few times, but it’s amazing.”

“What do you mean?”

“This iron mine area. I was surprised by how much bigger it was than I thought. I just saw it in passing. There are more people working than I thought, and the quality of the mined ore is very good.”

Bahamut spits sincere admiration with both eyes shining.

Sister Linda felt a little proud when she responded to his benevolent attitude of praising the place she had created.

“To think that the owner of the Beden Merchant, who has a continental reputation, would say that. I really don’t know what to do. It’s a difficult time, but it’s just what a lot of people have done with their hips.. I haven’t done much.”

Sister Linda speaks with humility.

In response to her attitude, Bahamut waved lightly and continued talking without losing his smile.

“No, it is not. Any work, no matter how good the conditions are, cannot be accomplished without the capacity of a leader. Furthermore, to achieve this level of achievement under such adverse conditions is obviously impossible with ordinary abilities.”

“Whoops. You’re really exaggerating.”

Sister Linda smiled lightly at Bahamut’s words.

Although he was still showing modesty, it was clear that he did not hate his words.

And. Looking at Sister Linda like that, Bahamut spoke to her with sincerity.

“I was looking for someone like you.”

“Yes?”

Sister Linda gave a slightly surprised look at the unexpected words, and Bahamut continued to speak to her.

“You may know, but… the most important thing in leading any organization is how well you handle people. In particular, the larger the scale, the more talented people are needed.”

“I guess so. That is understandable.”

Sister Linda agrees with Bahamut’s words.

Looking straight at her face, Bahamut spoke with a tone filled with strength.

“In that sense, as the representative of the Beden Merchant Chambers, I would like to make a suggestion to you, how are you? Would you like to work with us?”

“Work… such… I am just a nun. Something like the ability to get involved in a professional top job…”

Sister Linda shows her burden at Bahamut’s words.

Seeing her reaction, Bahamut loosened his serious expression a little and spoke with a relatively light expression.

“Oh, you don’t have to think too hard. You simply have to do the same thing elsewhere as you are doing here.”

“If it’s the same thing. Could it be that it is also about the mines?”

“Exactly.”

Sister Linda changes her attitude and shows some anticipation.

In front of her, Bahamut held out a small map.

“I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of it. About the Aosta Mountains, a short distance west of here. This is something we only talk about, but…”

With those words, Bahamut looked around and lowered his voice.

In response, Sister Linda cautiously approached him, and then Bahamut spoke to her in a small voice.

“This is a special piece of information, but recently a large-scale gold mine was discovered in the Aosta Mountains.”

“Yes? You mean the… gold mine? Ugh!”

Sister Linda is surprised that she raised her voice involuntarily for a moment.

Although there were only a few people in this building who would not speak out even if they talked about something important, she looked around without realizing it immediately afterward and asked again in a quiet voice.

“Is that…is that really it? It’s almost the first gold mine in this neighborhood…”

“Yes, it is. Honestly, I didn’t believe it at first either… here.”

With those words, Bahamut carefully took something out of his pocket.

Right after that, in front of Sister Linda’s eyes, she saw a metal that was emitting a brilliant light.

It has a slightly angular shape in yellow light.

Seeing this, Sister Linda couldn’t take her eyes off her for a while, and Bahamut spoke in a calm voice while watching her.

“This is gold just mined from the mine. I can’t believe it because I brought this to you and show it to you. So, our upper house is thinking of developing a gold mine by mobilizing manpower in earnest this time.

Bahamut continued to speak as she put the metal she had taken out back into her bosom, and Sister Linda asked in a slightly trembling voice, erasing the feelings of regret that had lingered for a moment.

“Oh that. You see. That’s why Bahamut-sama wants to recruit me.”

“Yes, it is. I believe that he will do well in the operation of the gold mine, as he has abundant experience in running an iron mine, and furthermore, he has such a great mindset to take care of and manage these many people with compassion.”

“ah… then..”

Sister Linda shows a visibly excited reaction to Bahamut’s words.

But… Then, she slightly controlled her emotions and spoke with a slightly agitated look.

“Umm… First of all, thank you for the suggestion. Please give me a little time to think. As you know, I am also the parish priest in charge of this parish, and this place still needs me. And.. Above all, I am a priest who serves the Lord. We cannot commit the mistake of acting recklessly, guided by riches.”

“I see.. indeed. I certainly know that it will take some time for that part. If so, I will send someone in a week as much as I need to prepare in advance for this job. Would you be able to answer that much?”

“It’s been a week… of course. We will do that.”

“great. Then, in the meantime, let’s wait for a positive response.”

With those words, Bahamut stood up from his seat without losing his smile.

Then, the woman who had been quietly standing next to him followed him outside, and Sister Linda followed behind to see them off.

With a sincere smile on her lips.
