Crossing Paths, Traumatized, and Yet… – Chapter 63

Chapter 63: Spinning

Wakaba was in agony.

She still could not get Ren to let her talk to him.

She decided to just send him a message and told him she wanted to talk to him, but he never responded.

The next day, he would talk to her normally as if nothing had happened, and he would talk to her about something completely different.

When Wakaba tries to talk to him, he interrupts her and tries to stay with everyone, which is different from usual.

Wakaba thought she could at least talk to him somehow, so she sent him a message.

“I would like to reply to your confession.”

But there was no reply and the next day was the same as usual.

In front of everyone, she tried to act normal, but it was difficult to smile.

Everyone began to notice that Wakaba was not in good spirits, and they began to worry about her.

Chika, thinking that there was nothing she could do, sent a message to Ren asking him to give up on Wakaba, but he did not respond to her.

The next day, she treated Chika normally as if nothing had happened.

“After all, it’s no good.”

Chika was troubled.

She did not know what to do.

She had been so preoccupied with Ren and Wakaba that once she had contacted Daiki, she had not contacted him because she thought she had to do something about Ren.

So she was unaware that Ren had sent Daiki a false message telling him that Wakaba and he had hooked up.

When the winter break was near and school was not in session, Ren and Wakaba would not be able to see each other.

She also thought that this would be a good time to take advantage of the opportunity, so she had forgotten about Christmas.

Daiki was beginning to switch to the other side of the world, and he didn’t notice it.

Christmas was approaching and everyone was talking about what to do this year since they had been playing together every year.

As usual, they decided to get together, but one of the friends invited Daiki as well, but this year he said he couldn’t go because his high school friends had decided to invite him.

Wakaba was shocked.

She had thought that Daiki would come, too, since they had been having fun together every Christmas.

However, Daiki did not come.

When she first heard about this, she thought that Daiki disliked her after all.

“I can’t come this time because I’ve already invited. Sorry.”

He replied.

Chika, too, could not forcefully ask him out and decided to give up, but Wakaba’s depression was obvious to her.

She wants to do something about it, but everything is spinning out of control.

When things go wrong, no matter what she does, it doesn’t work.

Chika also spent the winter break in agony.

Ren was trying to buy some time.

He knew full well that things were not going as well as he had been, but now he had to show off as much as possible.

His impatience was all over the place. He had not been able to go on any dates, and it was difficult for him to be alone with her.

Even when they were alone, Wakaba tried to reply to his confession, so Ren kept talking to keep her from talking.

He tried not to listen to any of Wakaba’s talk.

He thought that if he managed to show off his good side at Christmas, and if they got alone and kissed, he could make it a done deal to go out with her, and if that happened, Wakaba would have no choice but to go out with Ren, something he would never have thought about if he were calm.
