Ling Yangxu wreaked havoc in the mountain range, alerting all the star beasts that lived there. They pounced on the two martial warriors.

A smile finally appeared on Ling Yangxu’s face when he saw this happen.

He kept diving deeper into the mountains, where the creatures were stronger. They were the only ones able to hold Wang Teng back.

He could finally break free!

The pair of fighters quickly flew deeper into the mountains. Right when they passed a huge mountain, Ling Yangxu repeated his previous actions and slashed with his long spear to attack a place in the landscape below.

Lightning attacks struck the body of the mountain. Force fluctuations were swept out, covering a few thousand meters of land. Trees and rocks tumbled and collapsed; a huge hole was blasted open in the mountain’s belly.

Ling Yangxu smiled coldly and turned to leave.

Roar!

Suddenly, a throaty and angry roar erupted below, akin to a volcanic blast.

The sound boomed across the mountains, sending shockwaves through the ground like a massive earthquake.

Ling Yangxu’s smile froze.

Right when the question popped up—the mountain below him trembled violently. Rocks cascaded down, while trees groaned and collapsed. The mountain’s body was detached, rising steeply from the ground.

Ling Yangxu was unlucky. He wished for the powerful star beasts to hold the other back, but he ended up provoking a formidable presence.

The fellow understood the situation and his expression changed. He retreated furiously without thinking.

Just then, a large hand emerged from the mountain and grabbed Ling Yangxu.

The latter’s pupils shrank. He was appalled but there was no time to hesitate. Glaring light blossomed around his purple long spear as Force was gathered; it struck down like a true bolt of lightning.

The attack was shot towards the rough and wrinkled hand.

Bang!

The spear glow collided with the power of lightning swarming around the hand, releasing a blast that spread to the mountains.

The spear glow was instantly shattered, while the hand kept a firm hold of the warrior.

Ling Yangxu’s expression changed entirely. He frantically retreated, but was still slower than the large hand. He was slapped.

Boom!

Ling Yangxu was thrown backwards like a sandbag. He vomited a mouthful of blood in midair.

Another hand emerged, wanting to slap Ling Yangxu again.

The latter squinted. A blinding purple glow erupted from his body as he scrambled to make his escape at the speed of light. The large hand failed to hit him.
