Bunny Is Obsessed With Me chapter 76

The bunny is obsessed with me.

It wasn’t that I couldn’t start right away.

I heard a broadcast asking me to read the rules table attached to the door, and it was only after I read the rules table that I was able to start.

It is said that it is a success if you just escape within 40 minutes, but it didn’t seem that difficult.

I thought it would be okay to start now, so when I opened the door to the master bedroom and left, what I immediately saw was something like a red liquid.

On the kitchen floor, near the table, something like a red liquid formed a puddle.

Kyung-hee seemed shocked and embarrassed for a moment, but then calmly opened her mouth.

“That’s not blood. I don’t smell blood. Don’t ask why I know.”

“Looking at the consistency, it must have been mixed with something.”

It didn’t seem like an important clue.

It just seemed like a device to express this kind of atmosphere.

It didn’t look like there was anything actually in the pool.

Normally, there would be a key or something in this place.

“First, let’s look around the front door. Normally, I would have to look at the front door first.”

Kyunghee’s eyes lit up.

It must have been a lot of interest.

I thought it would be okay to visit this place later.

Kyung-hee didn’t have much to call her hobbies, and she didn’t claim to have anything else she wanted to do.

He wanted to do it because he was always with me, but there wasn’t much that he wanted to come alone.

So, I was very grateful that Kyung-hee showed such interest.

… That said, I don’t want you to think about solving it by force.

“Don’t strain yourself, Kyunghee.”

“oh.”

“It was written in the rulebook there. Do not damage it.”

“I didn’t give you strength.”

Kyung-hee hurriedly put down the lock on the front door and smiled shyly.

I pretended not to notice that smile and looked around the front door again.

There were six locks in all on the porch.

Two common key locks. Two dial locks.

There was one rope that kept the door closed, and one that locked the door from the inside.

So it seemed like I would need three keys.

“The colors are all different. right?”

Kyung-hee pointed to the key lock she picked up earlier and continued.

“This is a blue padlock. And the one underneath is turquoise.”

“The reason why the colors are different is probably for visibility, right?”

“Isn’t it? Perhaps, the clues are also given by color… ”

“First, what are you going to do?”

“yes? What?”

“Do you want to go together, or do you want to go alone?”

There were six rooms here.

The living room and foyer seemed to be treated as one room, and the kitchen and bathroom.

And there were two rooms of unknown use and one main room.

Since the rules table said earlier that there were no clues in the main room, it seemed like it would be okay for each of us to search for two.

Kyung-hee thought for a moment, then walked to the kitchen, saying that she would go alone.

After telling me to bring something, I went into a room of unknown use.

As I opened the door and entered, I saw furniture that looked like a study room.

Unlike the kitchen, the inside was fairly tidy.

Most of the furniture seemed to be just props, so there was no need to search.

Instead, what I focused on was the study.

The library was filled with the complete works of world literature, arranged in order.

Each of the 10 books had a different color, but strangely, the order of some books in the middle was changed.

No, it wasn’t just the order. Some of them were turned inside out and stuck.

It just seemed like something I needed to remember. In the circumstances, this was like a hint to unlock the dial lock.

“There are more props than I thought.”

That was exactly what I felt after looking around the study room.

There was not much to look for, as if it was only creating an atmosphere.

I found something like a note in a drawer, but it didn’t seem like there was any information I could get.

With the word solitude, only things like 3 -> 6 were written.

“No, wait.”

I just passed it on without thinking, but this was a Mersenne prime.

Come to think of it, it reminded me of the complete collections of world literature I saw a while ago.

I checked the note again. A total of three formulas were written on the note.

3 -> 6. 7 -> 28. 31 -> 496. These are all perfect numbers corresponding to small Mersenne primes.

I hurriedly took a closer look at the study. The books that were turned upside down were Volumes 1, 2, and 7.

And the books whose order was changed were 8 and 28.

Looking at volume 1, which was turned over between volume 8 and volume 28, it seemed to be the perfect number 8128 corresponding to M(7).

There was a time when I was interested in math, so it’s a shame, otherwise I couldn’t solve it at once.

And it didn’t seem like a trick that was designed to be solved in one go.

It’s probably a trick you can solve by looking for clues in different rooms and combining them.

“It must be a red dial padlock.”

Looking at the red notebook in the study room, the dial lock probably corresponds to this.

When I actually set the dial to 8128, the lock opened quickly.

There were now five locks left.

“What, did you open it already?”

Kyunghee grumbled as she hugged me from behind.

Perhaps the first lock seemed to want to be unlocked first.

I was trying to explain why things had happened that way, but I found a pair of scissors in Kyunghee’s hand.

“What are these scissors?”

“I think it’s for cutting the line there. There is one blade in the kitchen, so I had a hard time finding one.”

“Didn’t you break something?”

“Of course I didn’t break it. And, I found this too.”

Kyunghee took a note out of her pocket.

I read the note and laughed.

The formula written there was the Mersenne prime formula.

Perhaps, in the process of looking for scissors to cut the line, he looked for the note and searched the study room to find it.

I said, cutting the string with scissors to unlock the second lock.

“Now what are you going to do? Do you want to search separately or together?”

“seperately!”

“Yes, yes. Okay.”

“I’ll go to that room.”

Gyung-hee went into another room, burning with enthusiasm.

Looking through the slightly opened crack, it looked like a children’s room.

I let Kyung-hee rummage there to her heart’s content, and went into the bathroom.

The first thing I saw when I entered the bathroom was a warning sign.

It was a warning that this toilet was only a prop, so it did not actually work.

In fact, when I opened the toilet as a joke, I could see the dry inside because there was no water.

Without thinking, I opened the lid behind it.

As there are usually empty spaces here, it seemed that there would be something.

And indeed, there was one key.

I didn’t know where the key was, but I put it in my pocket and kept searching the bathroom.

However, as before, no plausible clues emerged.

I just thought that one prop was really elaborately made.

Now was the moment I was about to leave as it seemed like a waste of time.

Suddenly, the phone vibrated.

I looked at the screen and let out a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, the call was not from Han So-wol, but from Park Jin-soo.

“hello?”

– Uh, I heard from Ilhyun. You said you were at the escape room cafe.

“I am doing it now.”

– … By any chance, can I not call you?

“There were no such rules. I think you should just not be too loud. not for long We have to escape.”

– I had no intention of making it long. just what I was thinking of asking what you are doing.

“It sounds like your mouth is very deaf. Because I hear your voice.”

– I came out to go to the bathroom for a while, but I thought it would go well? With that boy named Han So-wol.

“Sorry for not answering the phone. I was busy, so I was going to get it later.”

– Oh, it’s okay. Now that I’m in your position, I understand why.

Park Jin-soo seemed really curious about what I was doing.

One last time, he boasted that he was going to get a girlfriend this time, and hung up the phone.

I smiled and put my phone in my pocket.

I’m really glad I didn’t feel bad about it. At least it doesn’t look like anything happened.

When I came out of the bathroom, I saw Kyunghee touching the dial.

It seems that he found a clue to something in the room.

Shortly thereafter, after unlocking the dial lock, Kyunghee smiled broadly and placed her hands on her hips.

This time I solved it first, so it seemed like they were saying it was a tie.

It was so cute that I tried to stroke her hair, but I decided to refrain.

It’s not too late to go home.

“Now, are there three left?”

Kyunghee said while counting the locks. I said no, then unlocked one of the locks with the key I found in the bathroom earlier.

All that was left was a key lock and a key to the front door.

And finding the key wasn’t too difficult.

It was because, after searching the entrance and living room separately as before, the keys were found one by one in a matter of minutes.

I found one in the corner of the shoe closet, and Kyunghee reached under the sofa and found one.

After unlocking all the keys, the store manager came out with a camera and said,

“I think we have an achievement system, but can I take just one photo?”

“Achievement, system?”

“Yeah. If you use it again later, you two will get a little benefit.”

“Siwoo, do you want to do it?”

I nodded.

There was no reason to refuse anyway.

The store manager smiled and took a picture after explaining that the theme changes by season.

It seemed that he would develop the picture and put it in a frame if he wanted it later.

After enjoying the escape room cafe like that, we wandered around the streets for a while.

It was something I could do because I had nowhere to go.

I could just walk from park to park, or stop at a cafe in the middle to pass the time.

And when the day got dark, I reserved a movie with dinner.
