Sure enough, when Liu Ye arrived at the scene, he couldn’t see a single cut or burn on Queen’s Luna’s body aside from some dust on her outfit. On the other hand, the rest of the thieves were all dead with only the Red Nightmare still left standing.

“Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!” the bald man cursed under his breath as he saw Liu Ye arrive and continued to run from Queen Luna’s bombardment. He didn’t even try to fight back and only looked around for an escape route.

The reason for that was clearly Queen Luna’s identity which was exposed with her bandana lowered. Who in their right mind would fight the Queen if they knew how powerful she was? They could only try to escape or ask for forgiveness but Queen Luna was ruthless in this regard.

“Give up resisting and I will give you a quick death!” Queen Luna shouted while giant blocks of earth smashed against Red Nightmare’s walls. They crumbled immediately and blew him away but he struggled up despite his body bleeding all over.

“Killing me will only make it worse for you!” Red Nightmare cried out while gazing at her hatefully. “Only I can handle such a massive group of thieves! Once I’m dead, they will go rampant and the whole Earth Land will suffer!”

Liu Ye only snickered at that and water gushed out from his waterskin. “Don’t worry, it won’t happen. Once we are done with you, they will be next.”

Looking at Red Nightmare’s HP, Liu Ye just couldn’t resist taking this juicy kill for himself. He only needed one Ice Spear to execute him after Queen Luna weakened him and Liu Ye didn’t hesitate to craft more than one. There was no way he would let him escape from this one.

“Screw you!” Red Nightmare cursed crazily at Liu Ye and his eyes burst with desperation. “If I am to die today, I’m going to take you with me!”

Red Nightmare swiftly reached to his pouch and pulled out a red pill. Queen Luna’s expression momentarily changed but before she could say anything, Red Nightmare threw the pill at Liu Ye with all his strength.

“Noo!!” Queen Luna exclaimed in worry while Liu Ye instinctively sent his Ice Spear to smash it. Only upon contact did he realize it was the worst thing he could do.

It exploded on impact into a cloud of red smoke that swallowed him whole. He closed his eyes immediately but then his whole body began to burn as if someone just poured hot oil on him. He couldn’t be more glad that he already lowered his sensitivity to pain or it wouldn’t be a pleasurable experience.

Even without looking at his inbox, Liu Ye could tell the smoke had negative effects and his HP was decreasing. His arm kept buzzing as his notifications came one after another yet Liu Ye was unable to see anything. Splashing water all over himself did nothing to ease the burning and actually made it even worse.

Liu Ye didn’t think it would happen so fast but he could only trust in his new partner to save him.

“Grind God!” Queen Luna cried for his name and a sudden gust of wind blew at his body. He dared to open his eyes and he saw Queen Luna rush to him with a worried expression.

The red smoke was still in the air and spread back to them so Queen Luna kept blowing it away before creating a water bubble to keep them safe. Only then did she approach him and lower his bandana to check on him. “How are you feeling?! Did you breathe in the smoke?”

Liu Ye’s HP kept dropping every second so he confirmed with a nod while gulping down a Health Potion to slow it down. He immediately regretted being cheap and not buying Large Health Potions as his HP still dropped by 15 every second.

“I don’t think I’m fin—” Liu Ye tried to talk but he felt pain in his voice, causing him to cough madly. Only then did he check his inbox and saw the critical notifications.

[Ding! Toxic fumes applied poison. You will lose 25 HP every second until you consume an antidote.]

[Ding! The poison affecting you is corrupting your organs. Every minute the damage will increase by 25 HP.]

[Ding! The poison affecting you will paralyze your movements in the next 15 seconds. Please consume an antidote.]

One after another gave even worse news, causing Liu Ye to start losing hope. It was going so well yet he suddenly was on the verge of dying. He looked up at Queen Luna as he struggled to stand before collapsing at her as his last ounces of strength left him.

“Damn, hold on!” Queen Luna cursed after catching him and placed him on the ground with unusual gentleness. She let his head lay on her soft thighs as she searched in her pockets for a small leather bag.

Liu Ye could barely see at that point but Queen Luna withdrew something round from the bag and put it in her mouth. She chewed for a second before leaning down to his lips. To his surprise, she pried open his mouth and forced her tongue inside. A bitter liquid slowly dripped down his throat which caused an immediate reaction.

His sight returned to normal and he saw Queen Luna’s neck while she glued her lips to his own. She held onto his face with both hands and wiggled her tongue in his mouth. One would think it would feel different to kiss an NPC but Liu Ye’s eyes widened at how real it felt.

“Mhmm!” Liu Ye warned before pushing her away as soon as he regained some movement in his arms.

She didn’t mind it and only smiled while continuing to caress his cheeks. “How are you feeling baby?”
