Academy’s Undercover Professor – Chapter 260: Greed Banquet (1) Bahasa Indonesia

Chapter 260: Greed Banquet (1)

Sorry for not posting yesterday but I needed a day off. The good news is that there are still some chapters in queue so I’ll release daily chapters until at least Tuesday.

The generals gathered were terrified at the sudden appearance of an uninvited guest since not only the people waiting outside but also all the guards died.

The person who caused all this misery was sitting down and staring at them with a sharp gaze. The emotions contained in the gaze were hard to fathom even those who survived politics.

“You must be wondering why I came here.”

At the words, all the generals shuddered. Their eyes on Rudger were filled with fear because they saw their men who had been fine until a while ago were being beaten in an instant.

Rudger stared at Lieutenant General Ghetto sitting on one side.

“Did you receive my present well?”

“What?”

“I gave you a small gift to the factory, but you ran away here without receiving it.”

Lieutenant General Ghetto, who was going to question what that meant, gritted his teeth thinking of the factory explosion during the day today.

“You, did you do it?”

“Next time, you’d better make sure you’re prepared for magic. Of course, if there’s a next time.”

“What on earth is your purpose? What do you want from me?”

Asked Lieutenant General Ghetto, shaking his chin. It was because he didn’t understand why such a talented person targeted them.

“Are you a frontman to the Empire?”

“You’re saying something offensive. Do I look like I’m that kind of person?”

“If you’re not from Black Ops, why on earth are you doing this to us?”

As if he didn’t understand. Rather, Rudger asked when Ghetto asked back.

“I want to ask you that. Why did you guys do this?”

“What?”

“You kidnap people, use them as experiments, capture subspecies and enslave them, and build secret weapons to prepare for war.”

One by one, the faces of the people gathered in the seats hardened as what they had done secretly flowed out of Rudger’s mouth.

This man here knew all about what they did. And the recent top-secret projects they’ve been working on have been ruined one by one. It was all because of this man.

Lt. Gen. Ghetto was gritting his teeth secretly since he couldn’t bear the fact that all the great work he had been doing so far was destroyed by only one person but he had to put up with it.

Rudger was in the lead here.

“Why?”

Lieutenant General Ghetto said, twitching his lips, staring at Rudger.

“That’s because it’s our great job to regain the greatness of our weakened country. This is to reflect on the rules of steel in our slowly falling kingdom and make an example out of those rotten pigs.”

“Rotten pigs?”

“Yes. Now the Delica royal family is simply a bunch of peace-ridden idiots. Peace, liberty and equality. It’s all crap. You want us to hear that?”

Lieutenant General Ghetto expressed all the grievances he had contained in his heart.

The Delica Kingdom has made such prosperous development that it was called a country of steel in the past.

The country grew into a prosperous country by waging wars and increasing colonies, but it was slowly falling down since peace came.

“Our steel must never rust but look at how it became now. It’s rusty and corroded so I’m going to change it with steel that never rusts.”

“Did you kill people for that?”

“What does it matter if a few people die, such as subspecies slaves?”

“Didn’t you also experiment on your citizens?”

“They don’t even have the right to vote, and they’re not helpful to society anyway. Considering that what this country needs is a superior gene, it can be said that it has been thinned out well.”

From advocacy of war to eugenism, Lieutenant General Ghetto was truly proud of his opinion.

Rudger closed his eyes the moment he heard it while Lieutenant General Ghetto looked at him and asked.

“You must be an extraordinary person since you defeated the guards easily. How about joining hands with us?”

Lieutenant General Ghetto was saying, “I have acknowledged you.”

In this situation where he didn’t know when he would die, he was truly thinking that everything they did was for the greater good of the country and the generals around him were saying the same thing.

Rudger looked at them and opened his mouth.

“I understand that the people gathered here are not over 70 yet, no matter how old they are.”

The generals stared at Rudger with anxious eyes as he suddenly started talking about their age.

“But the war actually ended more than 100 years ago. No one here has ever been in a war.”

“Is that a problem?”

“Isn’t it strange? That those born in the age of peace howl war.”

“What?”

“At first, I was angry. I’m getting angry at the people who did all this but suddenly, I’m curious.”

Rudger looked at the faces of the people gathered with thin open eyes.

“Why did these people do such a thing? Why are they so proud of themselves after committing such an evil deed? I wonder if there are other complicated circumstances that I don’t know.”

However, as soon as they talked face to face, Rudger realized that they had no such concern. Even the complicated circumstances, the great mission to achieve something, and the fiery feeling of revenge didn’t exist.

There was nothing but ignorance and stubbornness.

Rudger remembered the images of people falling under the desires of a few.

“I’m not even angry anymore. It’s just disgusting.”

“What are you talking about?”

“I mean, you guys are trash that has no room for rehabilitation.”

When Rudger showed his momentum, Lieutenant General Ghetto eventually couldn’t resist and stood up. He drew a pistol from his waist and aimed it at Rudger.

“Then die!”

It was a special pistol given only to generals that although had little practicality and only a splendid appearance, but its role as a gun was faithful. But, of course, this gun was bound to be powerless against a wizard.

Unless he’s a fool, he’ll be ready for the [silence of fire]. Therefore, Lieutenant General Ghetto was certain that he could kill Rudger with one shot.

‘This gunpowder is unaffected by the [silence of fire]!’

It was not unreasonable to pierce a hole in the middle of the other person’s forehead. However, even when the trigger was pulled, the bullet did not go out.

“What?”

Lieutenant General Ghetto finally realized something strange as the gun he aimed at Rudger was gone along with one of his wrists.

Lt. Gen. Ghetto screamed at the blood and pain that came out late.

“Argh! My hand!”

“You use interesting gunpowder.”

Rudger lightly swung the sword stick in his hand and shook off the blood from it.

As Rudger reached out, Lieutenant General Ghetto’s hand, which fell on the table with a pistol, flew to him.

He immediately removed his hand and held the revolver plated with brilliant gold. There were six bullets in the cylinder all filled with special gunpowder.

“Gunpowder that’s not affected by the [silence of fire]. It’s really interesting.”

“Uh. How the hell…….”

“How did I know? Did you think I didn’t check that when I blew up the factory?”

Lieutenant General Ghetto’s complexion turned pale since blood escaped from the cut arm and he was about to die of excessive bleeding.

Rudger laughed at Lt. Gen. Ghetto.

“There are six people gathered.”

And six bullets in the cylinder.

“The numbers fit so well.”

“The…!”

There was a hole in Lieutenant General Ghetto’s forehead, which was about to shout something.

The other generals screamed at the top of their lungs. Some begging to be spared, some looking for an escort, some trying to escape. No one admitted their guilt, and Rudger gave each of them a bullet.

The Delica Kingdom is in a state of turmoil after a series of missing cases and a subspecies slave case.

In addition, a famous university dean was killed by a professor and the reporters were busy drawing articles on the daily scoops, but the extermination of the pro-war military hardliners was a much bigger case.

Six general-level officers with stars were killed at once along with their guards.

That brought a huge stir to the Delica Kingdom since no one knew how they died. However, rumors were circulating that Professor James Moriarty did it.

He, who was accused of murdering Dean Gord Himbel, even killed generals.

In fact, it was said that Professor James Moriarty knew how to use magic and hid his identity. The resulting answer was clearly imprinted on people’s minds through Casey Selmore.

Since the detective of the century pointed him out as the culprit, it couldn’t be wrong.

People talked about James Moriarty day after day. His brutality, his craftiness and their fear of all the crimes he would commit, as if they were already happening.

Journalists didn’t miss this provocative prey. They wrote an article that James Moriarty had something to do with all the minor crimes that took place throughout the Delica Kingdom.

It didn’t matter if it was true or false but the people saw it and believed it was real.

-James Moriarty is about to overturn the Delica Kingdom.

-Professor James Moriarty tried to start a war.

-He went ahead with a secret experiment.

-The robberies and murders in the city were also related to James Moriarty.

Even a small rumor swelled like a bubble as the miscellaneous incidents committed by criminals also spurred rumors.

– We’re James Moriarty’s men, too!

It was a bluff shouted by the small fries who wanted to be big shots, but they fanned it at a bad time.

James Moriarty became the godfather of the criminal world, who controlled all crimes in the Delica and the Delica Kingdom declared that they would definitely catch James Moriarty.

Some people indirectly related to the project undertaken by war advocates, led by Lt. Gen. Ghetto tried to express their goodness by condemning James Moriarty’s evil deeds with all their might.

They realized that James Moriarty was actually only killing people related to this, and somehow hid, expressing that they were not related to this.

Of course, most of those people have been captured by detective Casey Selmore, not James Moriarty.

In an instant, the police officers took several researchers alive.

They shouted that they were not guilty, but it was an excuse that would not work for Casey, who had already come based on solid evidence.

Thus a large-scale cleaning was carried out throughout the Delica Kingdom.

“Sigh, I’m tired.”

Casey Selmore sighed as she sat on a chair in a fancy room.

‘The problem is so widespread.’

James Moriarty conducted a terrible and inhumane experiment within the Delica Kingdom and the people involved in it were taken without question because some of them were mixed with state officials and high-ranking police officials.

‘I can’t believe all these people were related to James Moriarty.’

She couldn’t believe it; however, James Moriarty, who was said to be the mastermind, disappeared.

‘But I’ve got a clue.’

Casey Selmore had a hunch that James Moriarty was after someone.

The six generals who died, Dean Gord and those who secretly had contact with them.

‘James Moriarty’s misdeeds are undeniable but I’m sure he’s hiding something considering the people he killed.’

There was also the secret passage in the factory that burned down.

Looking at the scale alone, it seems that it has been prepared for quite a long time, but can an individual do it?

‘Tonight, I’m going to break the chain of all these crimes.’

Casey Selmore rose from her seat. Unlike her usual detective clothes, the water-colored dress fluttered to her movements.

The place where Casey Selmore is now was not the scene of a crime and if it were her usual self, she wouldn’t come.

When she opened the door wide and went inside, she saw people gathered under an ornate chandelier.

It was a banquet hall for the nobles and Casey Selmore thought that James Moriarty was bound to come here.
