A Berserker Mob, I’m Going to Participate in the Main Story – Chapter 35.3

Chapter 35: Falconer’s Technique [p3]

“Huh. …… What do you want now?”

“I do not like to be in contact with you either. …… emotionally.”

I was ambushed on my way to the dorm room. I sigh and wonder why I’ve been getting this kind of thing all the time since I came to the academy.

The other party has a bias, but not to the point of clear intent to kill. A middle-aged man.

The man in front of him is a demon, though Al himself is still unaware of it. The demons who have blended into human society, called the “harmony faction. He is a messenger of that clan.

“…….. Old Vince wishes to speak with Mister Al as soon as possible. Will you accompany me?”

Also, the family of those whom Al once did ‘hit back because he was hit’.

From the point of view of those who were beaten, the younger generation who would lead the next generation of the family was easily killed. Unilaterally and cruelly. The man’s hostility toward his family’s youth is simmering inside him.

Al, on the other hand, he doesn’t care. Because the man in front of him seemed more determined to fulfill the clan’s role than to retaliate. He was not in the mood for retribution. Al, too, inwardly views it favorably, seeing the man’s willingness to put aside his personal feelings in order to fulfill his role as the clan member.

‘It’s a lot to take in,☆’ Al sighs inwardly. But from the side, Al’s nonchalant attitude can only be seen as if he’s displeased by him. Al does not realize that such an attitude, which appears on the surface, is fuel for the fire against the demon man.

“Vince? Well, if they send someone like you to come, it must be really urgent. My business is not immediate either. …… No, rather, if it is after tomorrow, I probably won’t be able to move, so there is no problem if it is now. Shall we go?”

“I am grateful. …… Now, let’s get right to it.”

The man knows, The children of the clan tried to harm him for selfish reasons. So in return, he fought back. He knew it was inevitable. He also understands that it is natural logic for a warrior to fight back.

But the boy in front of me doesn’t care ……. He does not care about killing them in any way. The sight of himself as a member of the clan does not cause him any particular harm or ill will. He just looks at them like they are in trouble.

The younger generation of the tribe got what they deserved …… to die, but is it selfish of the man to at least wish that the person who killed them had expressed some kind of intention to do so?

‘I’m sorry, I’m the one who killed them!’ ‘But it is not my fault. It’s their fault!’ Would the man have felt differently if he had at least gotten such a reaction from Al?

But there is no such response from Al. Nothing really.

In fact, Al never thought back to the fact that he had killed the young generation of Vince’s family. Oh, come to think of it, that did happen. That was about it, and he was not particularly moved by it.

He had dared to kill Vince and the others, but in truth, he did not care about Ada, whom he had failed to kill, or even if she appeared in front of him. As long as the other party doesn’t show any malice toward me, I’m not interested in them. In fact, they even felt Ada’s presence in the distance once. To Al, that’s the extent of it.

Such an attitude made the man of demonic race feel unbearably humiliated.

Their deaths were meaningless.

If you ask Al, he’ll tell you that’s not true. ……

They walk in silence. From Al’s point of view, it was just the same path to Vince’s mansion that he was used to taking when he first came to the academy.
